About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Technical Lead to oversee both front-end and back-end development teams. This role requires a strong understanding of full-stack development with Node.js and AWS, as well as familiarity with mobile platforms (Android/iOS). Experience in the travel domain and AI/ML technologies would be a strong plus.

As a Technical Lead, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a cross-functional team of front-end and back-end developers.
2. Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle.
3. Architect, design, and guide implementation for scalable web and mobile solutions.
4. Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor team members.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Drive improvements in engineering processes, tools, and standards.
7. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, especially in mobile, AI/ML, and travel tech.
8. Oversee the integration of AI/ML tools and components into existing systems when applicable.

Technical Skills and Experience:

1. Back-end: Expertise in Node.js (Express, NestJS, or related frameworks).
2. Database: Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
3. Cloud: Experience with cloud services (AWS) is a must.
4. Travel Tech: Prior experience working on travel domain products (booking systems, travel APIs, etc.) is highly desirable.
5. AI/ML: Exposure to AI/ML concepts, tools, and integration into applications is an advantage.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 8-13 years of overall software development experience.
3. 2+ years leading technical teams.
4. Proven track record of delivering complex web and mobile applications.
5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
2. Hands-on experience in microservices architecture.
3. Mobile: Exposure to mobile application development (Android/iOS) or managing mobile teams.
4. Familiarity with travel technology standards (e.g., GDS systems, NDC APIs, OTA standards).
5. Exposure to AI/ML platforms

Must-Have:

● Proven experience as an AI/ML specifically with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in production.

● Deep expertise in building Agentic Workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen.

● Strong proficiency in designing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) 

● Experience with Function Calling/Tool Use in LLMs to connect AI models with external APIs (REST/gRPC) for transactional tasks

● Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Vertex AI, Model Garden, and deploying models on GPUs

● Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).

• Comfortable handling big data in MS-Excel, creative in presentations, pulling together insights from a variety of sources with effective presentation and story boarding skills
• Problem solver accompanied by strong analytical and process skills, keen attention to detail, be highly organized and methodical
• Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve

• Identify bad code practices in Scala and write new analyzers to detect them.
• Improve the coverage of automatically fixable issues.
• Ensure fewer false-positives are reported by the analyzer.
• Work on the internal tools that support analysis runtimes.
• Contribute to open-source static analysis tools.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience in Scala and Java.
• Understanding of the nuances of execution of the source code (AST, data flow graphs, etc).
• Familiarity with Scala best practices followed in the industry.
• Native experience with Linux/Unix environment.
• A focus on delivering high-quality code through strong testing practices.

In this role you will take part in various projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through exploratory and automated tests. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Write test cases to test code using automation frameworks, as well as create and continuously improve our test automation environment.
• Develop & maintain automated test scripts covering functional correctness using Object Oriented programming concepts, for both new features & Regression testing of existing functionality

• Work directly with both Software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand features, review technical implementations, and implement testing strategy.

Skills and Expertise: 

• Minimum 4 Years’ Experience
• Knowledge and proficiency in the use of various automated tools that are used in the Automated testing procedures. Execute interactive test procedures. Proficient in writing Automation scripts.
• Sound knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages. Java and Java script
• Good knowledge of SQL queries. Practical knowledge of web-based technologies
• Proven experience with Web-application Automation testing, Mobile apps testing.
• Understanding of OO concepts & its application to Automation framework
