"ROR" Developer

What you will do:

● Design and build features for our web applications — front end and back end, using Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript, and React

● Work across the stack: databases, APIs, and the plumbing that connects them

● Take a feature from first line to shipped — you'll touch every phase of the build, not just one slice of it

● Test for performance, security, and the edge cases that actually break things in production

● Work directly with the rest of the team on shared infrastructure, not off in a corner

● Push for better tools and approaches as the codebase grows, instead of settling for "it's always been done this way

What you need 

 ● 0-1 years of professional experience building with Ruby on Rails, Java, Python, JavaScript/React, or Node

● Comfortable with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery on the front end

● A real grip on data structures and algorithms — not just the interview-prep version

● Solid object-oriented design instincts

● You'd rather write simple, clean code than clever code

● Comfortable with relational databases day-to-day

● Working knowledge of NoSQL is a plus, not a requirement

● Some interest in the math and stats side of finance helps — you don't need to be an expert.

Also running in production here — OPTIONAL / NICE TO KNOW You won't be hired against this list. Prior exposure is a genuine plus, and you'll bump into these once you're in — but not knowing them isn't a blocker.
