We’re laser-focused on delivering a world-class product again, and looking for an ambitious backend engineer to join our existing team of 9 engineers.

Some of the tech problems you get to work on as a backend engineer would be to build the backend for a modern spreadsheet experience from scratch, work on infra as code, write robust code that is fault-tolerant, work on performant code that adheres to SLOs set by the organization. 

About you:

● 3- 5 years of experience

● Expertise in the following areas ○ Java ○ HTTP Protocol

● You’ve heard of or worked with some of the following tech stacks/products

○ Spring

○ PostgreSQL

○ Redis ○ Docker

○ Message brokers

○ GitHub

● These non-functional areas are familiar to you

○ Performance

○ Debugging

○ Log management

Skills:

• Expertise in Python 3 on AWS serverless
• Experience in AWS serverless stack Appsync, Lambda, Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, SQS, S3, Code commit & Code Deploy.
• Proficient in modern microservice-based architectures and methodologies.
• Experience in a database technology, preferably No-SQL such as AWS DynamoDB.
• Build human-centric UX with us using technologies like React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and CSS-in-JS.
• Experience building data processing pipelines (SQS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, or similar)
• Deep technical hands-on experience developing in REST/JSON or SOAP/XML, combined with strong knowledge of concepts such as CORs (Cross Origins Resources), headers, security, JSON and http concept.
• Experience with Github and advanced Github features (good to have).
• Must have worked as a part of Agile Teams and DevOps practices such as continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins), code repository, creating CI/CD pipelines is required.

An aesthetically pleasing design creates a positive response in people’s brains and leads them to believe the design works better. Users often perceive aesthetically pleasing design as design that’s more usable. We need Visual Designers who know how to make their design interfaces usable, how to draw the user’s eye to the correct information and functionality., and how to prioritise content on a page through size, colour, and the use of negative space. We need visual designers who have mastered the basics of UI, graphic design, branding, and visual communication. This is because they have to translate a brand’s style and voice into a beautiful yet usable design. We take our design process seriously. So research via surveys, customer feedback, heat mapping, and analytics forms a core part of our process. Our designs go through an internal design checklist so that we achieve user goals while keeping in mind technical limitations. You need to be someone who’s flexible, agile, responsive and honestly, calm! You will be juggling multiple projects. The office environment is young and dynamic. It's a work-hard, play-hard culture. IT Administrator

Our client in Education startup is in need of an IT Administrator.

Track company’s computer systems to ensure that all aspects are operating efficiently

Troubleshoot problems, configure hardware and software, implement backup processes and assess systems for upgrades or replacement.

Responsible for installing new systems and assessing and implementing upgrades as needed.

Creating user accounts and performing access control.

Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.

Ideal Candidate / Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science or IT administration

Experience - 0-1 year into system administration
