Looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users

We are building a platform for millennial parents to surround them with personalised support at every step of their parenting journey. The vision is to become their trusted 24*7 buddy right from planning a baby to 12 years of a child.

The plan is to on-board 1 million users at a break-neck speed in the next 6 months using ingenious methods, both online & offline. To support the growth and build multiple features, we are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. The position reports to the Technology Head and based out of Bangalore.

Technology : PHP( CodeIgniter, Laravel etc ),OOPHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL

Responsibilities:

· Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers

· Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

· Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Requirement:

· Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {such as Laravel, CodeIgniter etc depending on your technology stack}

· Understanding of synchronous behaviour of PHP

· Understanding of MVC design patterns

· Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

· Understanding accessibility and security compliance

· Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions

· Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

· User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

· Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

· Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

· Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

· Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Responsibilities

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A or related field

·       Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {such as Laravel, Codeigniter, etc depending on your technology stack}

·       Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP, MVC design patterns and object-oriented PHP programming

·       Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Job Description:

• Strong Experience of Node JS.

• Strong Experience of Reactjs development

• Experience in Server-side application architectures like Express.js, Meteor.Js, etc. is desirable.

• Experience in developing APIs is highly desirable.

• Experience in Mongo or MySQL database is a must.

• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

• Experience in delivering products using an Agile methodology is highly desirable.

We are looking for Django Developers who will  work on a wide range of industries namely automobile, banking, education, fashion, etc.

Skills Required: 

• Professional and precise communication skills.
• Creating self-contained, reusable, testable modules and components..
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performance visual effects and keeping the frame rate above 30fps at all times.
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform,  database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive  feedback.
• Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multithreading, when needed.
• Experience with all levels of operation available to the front-end, such as from creating XHRs in vanilla JS to using a custom wrapper around resources.
• Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app and assets.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Backend Development
• Preferred skills - Python, MySql, PostgreSQL
• Proficiency with Python, Django framework, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services ( EC2, AWS Lambda,Elastic Beanstalk, API Gateway, S3 etc )
• Familiar with XAMPP, LAMP etc.
