Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PHP – Laravel Developer to join our onsite team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong backend expertise in Laravel along with advanced frontend knowledge, the ability to work closely with clients, and experience managing tasks using project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel
• Build and consume RESTful APIs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in PHP development
• Strong expertise in Laravel framework (Laravel 10+)
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
• React.js experience (good to have working knowledge)
• TypeScript – good to know
• Advanced frontend knowledge using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Strong experience with MySQL
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs
• Proficiency in Eloquent ORM
• Familiarity with Git / version control
• Experience working in Linux environments

Additional Requirements

• Excellent client communication skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience using project management tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of modules

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

  • Must be able to self-manage the pipeline and should be well prepared to meet challenging timelines

  MySQL competency

  • Must be able to write complex queries
  • Understanding and implementation level knowledge of key joins, constraints, and triggers
  • Able to analyze the query and perform query optimization
  • Independently handle the Table DDL and DML statements as part of the development
  • Ability to create ER diagrams and data mapping diagrams and document data entity chang

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-5 years of work experience in the development background, with at least 2 years experience in Java, Spring, Sprint Boot, Hibernate or JPA, MySQL, Oracle, Spring MVC.
• B.E. degree in Computer Science, Graduate in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in Core JAVA, Spring, Spring Boot Frameworks.
• Experience with ORM's like Hibernate.
• Good knowledge of developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot, Java1.x,Servlet2.4, JSP2.0, JDBC3.0, Java Mail, Struts2.x, HTML, HTML5, Angular7+, JavaScript, JSF, Bootstrap2.x-3.x, JQuery & CSS 3.x, Maven 3.x, Apache Tomcat7
• Knowledge of Cloud AWS.
• Experience in any Messaging Queue e.g. Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.
• Experience on Web services with REST and SOAP.
• Experience working on tool set like Eclipse IDE, SQL clients.
• Experience using application server like Jboss, TomCat, Wildfly, glassfish.
• Experience in using tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN
• Ability to write SQL queries to fetch data.
• Knowledge of Micro services, Redis Cache and Mongo DB (or any other NoSQL) is good to have
