Job Description for Business Development

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development to join our team in the Furniture/Fixture Retail Industry. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in sales and business development. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and target potential clients within the Furniture, Fixture Retail sectors.
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and expand the company’s market presence.
• Create detailed business development plans, set objectives, and track progress against targets.
• Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure profitable deals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Understand client needs and work closely with internal teams to provide tailored solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Analyze market data to understand customer needs and preferences, and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Monitor industry developments and suggest innovative ideas to stay ahead of the competition.
• Work closely with the design, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support business development efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future strategies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Furniture, Fixture Retail Industry, advertisement industry, event management industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation, communication, excel and presentation skills.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Working on multiple projects, applications and websites
• Working on cross platform designs to provide optimised design for an application/website
• Understanding client requirements to provide designs/flows as per expectations
• Conducting in-depth research on potential competitive landscape to understand industry specific trends/benchmarks
• Developing wireframes to provide/communicate potential screenflows
• Analysing client feedback and incorporating design changes 
• Designing UI elements such as navigation/interaction elements, CTAs, widgets, buttons, search bars etc.
• Assisting the engineering and development team to translate design to code

Requirements:

• Atleast 6-8 years of experience in developing and managing complex design projects
• Have a strong design principles and have a diverse portfolio to showcase
• Proficiency in any of the design suites such as Figma, Indesign, Photoshop , Invision etc. 
• Ability to understand company/brand guidelines and incorporate the same within design
• Extensive experience in collaborating with multiple teams both inter/intra company
• Experience in providing creative insight to improve existing products
• Basic front end knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus

Application Integration Engineer - HR/Payroll

Skills:

·        Experience on HR Payroll SaaS

o  HR/Payroll applications: Ideally UKG, multiple others ok

o  Financial applications: ideally knowledge of how HR/Payroll systems interact with ERPs (ideally NetSuite), and other personnel expenses (i.e., Expensify, Concur)

·        Knowledge of various Integrations approaches:

o  Native connectors

o  SFTP files

o  API – schema, design

·        Knowledge of multiple coding languages: Java script, XML, REST, SOAP etc.

·        Ability to work with data bases (ideally SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), including ETL

·        Some knowledge of Azure services, mainly SQL and Oracle databases, storage, analytics 

·        Experience working with global teams

·        Ability to overlap some work hours with US EST/CT time

·        Solid communication skills

·        Proactive, takes initiative, out-spoken

·        5-8 of years

• Write DRY and neat code (must)
• Write technical documentation as required

Good to have:

• We embrace new tech and if you have made your hand dirty across Webflow and no-code tools, it's highly appreciated
• Typescript we dont expect, but it's good to have
• Worked with designer tools, such as Illustrator

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to take our product to the next level. 

* Development with NodeJS and front-end languages/frameworks (jQuery, ReactJS/AngularJS, CSS3, HTML5)
* 4+ years of SQL experience (MySQL preferred)
* Experience developing RESTful Web Services, Web APIs, and micro-services.
* Integrating with a third-party system via RESTful APIs.
* 4+ years of solid experience with SQL and NoSQL-based solutions.
* Experience with AWS deployments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
* Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code (using design patterns) and experience with a unit-test-driven approach to development.

* Familiarity with Elasticsearch is an advantage
* Experience with Redis is an advantage
