JOB DESCRIPTION

• Has in-depth understanding of the full software development life cycle. Deep familiarity with data & business analysis, along with modern software design &development concepts encompassing a range of languages & platforms.
• Can work within an Agile team to ensure that all key technical requirements are identified, estimated, designed, implemented, and tested. 
• Can work on a collaborative cross-technology team where Java, APIs (services), PL/SQL interact with a range of business logic interfaces & systems. 
• Can own small to medium scale strategic initiatives/projects, enhances process standards and best practices, and supports issues during UAT/system rollout phases.

• Bachelor of Engineering / 2-3 years of experience

PRIMARY SKILLS

• Hands on experience with on Java 11 with Spring Cloud Microservices ecosystem(multi-threading, data structures, design patterns and OOP practices etc).
• Ability to Query Relational Databases like DB2, Sybase and Cloud data sources like snowflake.
• Spring, SOAP & REST Web Services with on XML/JSON based data.
• Experience with DevOps tools and Git.
• Test Driven development (TDD) and experience working in a disciplined development environment.
• Exposure to Azure Cloud experience is a plus.

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

• Business analysis – focused on investment management process and tools.
• Some experience into Automation Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of a Single Page Application (SPA) and it's components in Typescript: deployed and optimized for progressive mobile and browsers using Angular 2 and Ionic 2 frameworks.
• Creating custom, general use modules and smart components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular framework.
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components in Typescript and using responsive HTML and CSS.
• Architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners or scripts.
• Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Should have experience with CSS 3, SCSS, Java script and HTML5.
• Full-time knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience. Or 2 Year or more experience with other industry-leading frameworks like React.
• Minimum 1-year experience in working and extending one of the CSS or UI frameworks like Ng-lightening, Angular-material

Education:

• BE / BTech / MCA

Key Skills: OpenText AppWorks, OpenText Process Suite (all sub components), Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL, BIRT.

Required Skills:

• Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using OpenText AppWorks (erstwhile Process Suite) low code design and integration framework.
• Knowledge on implementing OpenText AppWorks integration services using REST, SOAP, and Email etc.
• Good understanding of OpenText AppWorks case management features and BPM features.
• Experience in various rules and features like LifeCycle, Activities, User Interface (XForms and Low Code design), SLA, KPI, OTDS, CARS, AppWorks Gateway, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, SAML, Listeners (File, MQ), SOAP Services, Email integration, HTTP Connector, AppWorks integration with Content/Document Management, etc.
• Experience in full OpenText AppWorks implementation including Entity modelling and Rulesets design.
• Expertise in Java, JavaScript, SQL Server Database.
• Expertise in building Web Services, REST Services API’s (nice to have) Familiar in designing and developing applications in cloud environments (preferably Azure).
• Authentication SAML 2.0, OT.
• Knowledge of OTDS and integration with OTDS
• Exposure to HTML5 ,angular and integration of AppWorks to with angular will be plus
• Exposure to another OpenText platform (ECM, xECM, Captiva, iHUB).

A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2-5 years hands-on experience with Java based open source tech stack
• Expertise in Core Java, Data Structures, J2EE with proven expertise in Spring MVC, Spring boot, Microservices architecture, Web Services (Rest) in distributed systems
• Practical experience with MySQL and /or NoSQL databases like Couchbase, DynamoDB, Cassandra
• Practical experience with Caching frameworks Memcached/Redis, Message Queues (JMS, RabbitMQ)
• Practical hands-on experience in JavaScript UI preferred
• Experience in building high performance, high availability REST APIs and REST clients
• Expertise with log file analysis using one or more of ELK, or Splunk
• Prior experience with CI/CD, Container architecture - Docker/Jenkins and build scripts Maven/Ant
• Prior experience in transformation to cloud platforms is preferred
• Experience with Kafka is a definite plus
• Experience with building analytics pipeline and analytics DB is a plus
• Strong practical experience in applying design patterns, multithreading concepts to solve complex problems, strong problem solving skills

• Lead the engineering effort across projects 
• Interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages including Application Architecture, Design and Development
• Understand client's business requirements and be able to map them to technology solutions and make them work
• Design and build modern solutions informed by a deep understanding of cloud architecture and how distributed systems operate at scale
• Provide regular support and guidance to teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution 
• Establish and enforce best development and engineering practices including QA and DevOps
• Lead and manage your own team, but also get down to coding, testing, and designing solutions as and when needed

• Minimum 6+ years of experience designing and building full stack applications using UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.JS and backend frameworks like Node.JS/ExpressJS or Python/Django/Flask or Laravel/Yii2/Symphony
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Lead mentoring team of 3 to 5 developers
• Strong knowlegde of cloud and distributed systems (AWS, GCP, Azure). Cloud certifications would be an added advantage.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with Graph databases like Neo4j is desirable.
• Proficient in Git and CI-CD frameworks
• Strong communicator with visual, verbal, and writing skills to clearly articulate complex design problems and solutions
• Ability to work in an agile environment
