Key Responsibilities:
Interconnection Support:
Provide technical support for projects in ISO/RTO interconnection queues, including strategy analysis and tariff advisory.
Prepare and submit interconnection applications, ensuring compliance with grid operator requirements.
Conduct power flow, stability, and affected system studies, assessing material modifications to existing infrastructure.
Assist in load flow analysis for transmission and distribution systems.
Technical Analysis & Modeling:
Utilize industry-standard power flow tools (GE-PSLF, PSS/E, PowerWorld, CYMDIST, TARA, ASPEN, PSCAD) for simulations and analysis.
Ensure accurate data input/output management for interconnection studies.
Research and track power market trends in major ISO/RTO markets to provide policy insights.
Process Optimization & Compliance:
Support modeling and policy analysis for transmission, renewable energy, smart grids, and distribution systems.
Develop process efficiencies and automation to streamline workflows.
