Site Reliability Engineer

Experience - 4 - 8 Years

Location - Bangalore (Hybrid) 

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, build, and operate scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Kubernetes ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and GitOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based platforms, including Cilium, Istio, Ingress Controllers, and related ecosystem components.
• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform.
• Implement and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and GitLab.
• Deploy and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes applications.
• Manage secrets, service discovery, and distributed systems using Vault and Consul.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability platforms using Prometheus Operator and the Grafana Stack (Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Alloy, Tempo, and Pyroscope).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve platform reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation to support modern cloud-native deployments.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with GCP, Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies, particularly Istio and Cilium.
• Experience with Vault, Consul, and infrastructure security best practices.
• Strong expertise in observability tools including Prometheus and the Grafana ecosystem.
• Proficiency with GitOps, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Good understanding of Linux systems, networking, and troubleshooting in distributed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating large-scale production environments.
• Knowledge of SRE principles, incident management, capacity planning, and reliability engineering.
• Relevant cloud-native certifications (CKA, GCP, Terraform, etc.) are a plus.

Strong Product Management Profile

Mandatory (Experience) – Must have recent 3+ YOE as a APM / Product Analyst role in a B2B SaaS

Mandatory (Skills 1) – Must have working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma and Lucidchart and product analytics platforms.

Mandatory (Skills 2) – Must have experience in designing wireframes, workflows, and mockups to visualize features and user journeys.

Mandatory (Location) – Candidates must be from Delhi/NCR Only

Mandatory (Company) - B2B Saas (preferably ERP, RetailTech, LoyaltyTech, OMS (order management system), POS, Logistics, WMS warehouse management) No EdTech and HealthTech

Preferred

Preferred (Skills 1) – Exposure to POS hardware integrations (printers, barcode scanners, payment terminals).

Preferred (Skills 2) – Experience with SQL or product data analysis tools.

Preferred (Skills 3)– Must have experience in APIs and integration, and understanding of agile methodologies

As the successful candidate, you will be required to:

• Design, develop and maintain data quality assurance framework
• Work in conjunction with BI and Data Engineers to ensure high quality Data Deliverable
• Design and develop testing frameworks to test ETL jobs, BI reports and Dashboards and other data pipelines
• Write SQL scripts to validate data in the data repositories against the data in the source systems
• Write SQL scripts to validate data surfacing in BI assets against the data sources
• Ensure data quality by checking against our ODS and the front-end application
• Track, monitor and document testing results

To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following:

• Demonstrated ability to write complex SQL/TSQL queries to retrieve/modify data
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
