Senior / Lead Full Stack or Frontend Engineer

Hiring for a Series E, 3.1 Billion Dollar rapidly growing organisation focused on payments, marketing and customer loyalty.

• To take ownership of delivering performant, scalable and high quality cloud based software, both frontend and backend side.
• Code reviews.
• Mentoring Team members to develop in line with product requirements.
• Collaborate with Senior Architect for design and technology choices for product development roadmap.

• Thorough knowledge of developing cloud based software including backend apis and react/angular based frontend.

Primary purpose of the role:

Front end development of websites and applications using CSS3, HTML5, jQuery and other skills to produce clean, functional and web compliant projects to be handed over to Back End Developers to be further worked on as well as CSS bug fixes post Back End development

Major responsibilities & deliverables:

8. Extensive knowledge of fonts, embedding from third parties like Google, Typekit & Font Deck etc.
9. Knowledge of optimizing CSS/JavaScript performance, by coding practices and tools.
10. Passion and follow through for their work. Excited and curious about learning new technology, as well as the sharing of ideas. Exceptional collaboration, listening, written, and verbal communication. Able to own individual projects as well as the ability to work within a team.
11. Awareness of current design trends in the visual arts, working knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding time limits which can impact on the design.

• BS degree in CS or equivalent work experience 5+ years professional experience building single page applications in ReactJS using TypeScript or JSX with extensive experience working with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks.

• Passion for new technologies. Product development experience building large scale web applications.
• Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer facing web application. Care deeply about writing high-performance, reusable code for components that will be used across our product.
• GraphQL experience is preferred.
