Role Summary

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and secure features for our Therapy Planning Software (TPS), which integrates with RMS/RIS, EMR systems, devices (DICOM, Bluetooth, VR, robotics, FES), and supports ICD–ICF–ICHI coding. The role involves ~40% frontend and 60% backend development, with end-to-end responsibility for security across application layers.

Responsibilities

Frontend (40%)

1. Build responsive, accessible UI in React + TypeScript (or Angular/Vue).
2. Implement multilingual (i18n/l10n) and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
3. Develop offline-capable PWAs for home programs.
4. Integrate REST/FHIR APIs for patient workflows, scheduling, and reporting.
5. Support features like voice-to-text, video capture, and compression.

Backend (60%)

1. Design and scale REST APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django).
2. Build modules for EMR storage, assessments, therapy plans, and data logging.
3. Implement HL7/FHIR endpoints and secure integrations with external EMRs.
4. Handle file uploads (virus scanning, HD video compression, secure storage).
5. Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for performance.
6. Implement RBAC, MFA, PDPA compliance, edit locks, and audit trails.

Security Layer (Ownership)

1. Identity & Access: OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, MFA, SSO.
2. Data Protection: TLS, AES-256 at rest, field-level encryption, immutable audit logs.
3. Compliance: PDPA, HIPAA principles, MDA requirements.
4. DevSecOps: Secure coding (OWASP ASVS), dependency scanning, secrets management.
5. Monitoring: Logging/metrics (ELK/Prometheus), anomaly detection, DR/BCP preparedness.

Requirements

• Strong skills in Python (FastAPI/Django) and React + TypeScript.
• Experience with HL7/FHIR, EMR data, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of OAuth2/JWT authentication, RBAC, audit logging.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and database optimization.
• Cloud deployment (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s) a plus.

Added Advantage

• Familiarity with ICD, ICF, ICHI coding systems or medical diagnosis workflows.

Success Metrics

• Deliver secure end-to-end features with clinical workflow integration.
• Pass OWASP/ASVS L2 security baseline.
• Establish full audit trail and role-based access across at least one clinical workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in professional Web Development
• Proven software development experience in Core PHP, Codeigniter, WordPress; Laravel is a plus.
• Must have 2+ yrs experience in VueJs.
• Experience in ReactJs, NodeJs is a plus.
• Excellent Software Design and Architecting capabilities
• Complete familiarity with client-side scripting and Angular JS, Ember JS , JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
• Complete familiarity and expertise in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Expertise in third party API integration - payment gateways, Storage, Streaming services, etc.
• Complete familiarity and experience working with JSON / XML and REST API structure
• Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment technologies such as Bitbucket, Jenkins and Git
• AWS/Google Cloud Deployment is a must; Devops capability is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
• Sound Database experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL experience
• A sound knowledge of Object-Oriented (OOPS) Programming & Design Pattern.
• Agile and Iterative (TDD) development expertise.

• Efficiently realize the UI/UX needs and deliver excellent front-end features.
  
• Maintain quality of our SAAS platform and ensure responsiveness of applications/cloud-run services.
  
• Collaborate with the rest of the teams to design and launch additional/new features and services.
  
• Develop and maintain the source codes.
  
• Optimize and stabilize the overall service architecture (front) from both engineering and commercial point of view.

• Should be highly skilled in the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)stack.
  
• Should have knowledge of different React Hooks, and should be able to develop custom hooks.
  
• Should have an understanding of making good-looking plots, an understanding of D3.js is preferred.

Requirement for Python Developer

Require more than 3 years of hands-on experience with Python and associated third-party libraries.

Should have strong logical and programming skills.

Experience with Django and DRF.

Should have knowledge about MongoDB

Coordinating with the team and sharing ideas in project planning and development

Preferred Experience:

• 2-3 years of industry experience in software development.

• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
