Strong Software Engineer fullstack profile using NodeJS / Python and React

Mandatory (Experience) - Must have 6+ YOE in Software Development using Python OR NodeJS (For backend) & React (For frontend)

Mandatory (Core Skills 1): Must have strong experience in working on Typescript

Mandatory (Core Skills 2): Must have experience in message based systems like Kafka, RabbitMq, Redis

Mandatory (Core Skills 3): Databases - PostgreSQL & NoSQL databases like MongoDB

Mandatory (Education) - Tier 1 Engineering Institutes (IIT, NIT, BITS, IIIT, DTU or equivalent)

• 0 to 3 years of experience (or equivalent understanding of software engineering)
• Familiar with Javascript/Typescript and React.js
• Familiar with one backend language (Node, Go, Java, Python) and one relational database (any SQL)
• Willingness and interest in learning new tech/processes (Next.js, Angular, IaaS, etc.)

About the Internship:

selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop server-side/client-side applications.

2. Basic knowledge of Data structures.

3. Test and document the developed code.
4. Must have basic knowledge of any one of the following technologies -

     PHP, Javascript, Golang, Dart.

1. We are looking for candidates who have good programming skills. Strong on data structures, algorithms, understand time space complexity, able to come up with multiple solutions and then arrive at most optimized one keeping in mind customer requirements. Should also be well aware of OO concepts. If he / she has a strong background on these areas ( in any programming language), half the job is done. – 50% weightage
2. Next the candidate should have worked on JS  with good hands on experience in a few projects mainly in backend development like making api calls, handling exception, models, data transformations, controllers etc.  – 20-30% weightage
3. The last would be having some experience in any one of react.js/ node.js or even angular.js since some of these are being used in the current project. – 20-30% weightage
4. Prefer candidates with Angular (ver 8+), react (ver 16+), Node (Ver 14+) and extremely good in JavaScript, HTML & CSS
5. Experience : 4-6 years relevant

We are looking for a Full Stack JavaScript and NoSQL Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work in both front-end and back-end web development to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions. Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
• Manage server side javascript code.
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of database
• Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Adaptability, ability to learn faster, Independant, Responsible and diligent
• Good team spirit and interpersonal skills, excellent written, verbal, communication skills, analytical skills and business thinking.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with advanced CSS programming using LESS or SASS.
• Strong understanding and experience in libraries React.js and React Native
• Strong understanding and experience in Node.js and other server side technologies.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
• Strong proficiency with NoSQL e.g MongoDB. Knowledge of SQL DBMS is a bonus.
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
• Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
