Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Sales Development Representative to spearhead our sales development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing and nurturing leads, and developing a high-performing sales development team. As a lead, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth by implementing strategic sales initiatives and fostering strong relationships with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
- Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new leads and expand the company's customer base through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Monitor and analyze team performance, providing regular coaching and feedback to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align sales strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
- Manage and maintain the lead pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and effective qualification of prospects.
- Participate in key sales and business development meetings, presenting insights and strategies to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and approaches.
- 4+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a IT / SaaS environment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools to increase efficiency and conversion rates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in sales development, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Proficient in Lead Generation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator / Apollo / Lusha / Zoom Info
- Ability to analyze data and sales metrics to inform decision-making.
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a results-driven approach.
