About the Role

We are building a new-age consumer commerce platform focused on parents in India. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Mobile Developer who is passionate about creating exceptional mobile experiences and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

As an early member of the engineering team, you will work directly with the CEO and have the opportunity to build and scale our customer-facing mobile applications while also developing internal tools that power our operations. This role offers high ownership, autonomy, and the chance to shape the future of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Develop customer-facing features with a strong focus on performance, usability, and reliability.
• Design and build internal operations tools and workflows that support business teams.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to turn ideas into products.
• Own the complete development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Continuously improve code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Rapidly iterate based on customer feedback and business needs.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience building mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in either:
• React Native (preferred), or
• Native iOS (Swift), and/or
• Native Android (Kotlin/Java), or
• Flutter.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating backend services.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience working in D2C, e-commerce, consumer internet, or marketplace companies.
• Experience building customer-facing mobile products at scale.
• Exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Firebase.
• Experience building internal tools or operational workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Firebase services.
• Startup experience or experience working in small, high-ownership teams.
• Experience with analytics, notifications, and mobile performance monitoring.

As part of the Mobile SDK Engineering team at Flyy, here are some things you can expect:

• Take ownership and be responsible for what you build - no micromanagement
• Work with customer success team to enable Flyy customers to adopt Insights-led engagement in different industry sectors like e-Commerce, FinTech, OTT, Social, entertainment, travel, telco, food-tech etc.
• Explore the latest in topics like Mobile development, SDK, iOS, Android, tvOS various mobile hybrid frameworks and share with the team and more importantly, have fun while you work on scaling Flyy.

Skills Required :

• Minimum 2 years experience in iOS Development
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Native Mobile Development
• Minimum 1 year of experience in React-Native/Flutter framework
• Should be thorough with different architectures used in Mobile Development
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Android/iOS framework:
• Multithreading concepts

Summary of role:

As a Developer, you will be working alongside our product team in the conceptualization, design and development of app and frontend components. You will be doing the following on the job

• Write clean, manageable code and maintain proper documentation
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using Android material design concepts

Key Responsibilities of this Role:

• At least three years of production level experience in working with native Android using Kotlin, Java
• Bachelors in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience) is preferred
