Desired candidate profile :

● Development experience with Android OS and Knowledge of Web services/API
interactions, Audio/Video streaming, SQLite, and JSON/XML parsing.
● Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and good command over an object-oriented language
● Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.
● Hands-on Linux experience
● Experience launching mobile applications in the Google Play app store or Apple iTunes
store.
● Experience launching web applications.
● Experience with an MVC framework like Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel
● Experience with server-side and client-side Javascript - Node.js, Angular.js, jQuery.
● Experience with version control tools like git, Subversion and Mercurial

We are looking for an experienced (>4 years) mobile developer who is proficient with Android/iOS platforms along with exposure to React Native. You should have a sense of great ‘taste’ and be excited about building products with exceptional UX. You should be able to implement established best practices across the mobile platform including automation testing, continuous integration, and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities
1. Developing new user-facing features using Android/iOS and React Native

Requirements
1. Strong proficiency in tech stack (Java for Android developers & Swift, Objective-C for iOS
developers)
2. Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles
3. Experience with popular React Native workflows (for Routing, State container, etc)
4. Experience with Native modules, bridging native code with React Native
5. Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
6. Experience with developing SDKs for Android or iOS platform is a plus
7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs
8. Familiarity with build pipelines and tools for mobile platforms

Role Summary
Driving design and innovation in the user-facing application to manage Yulus’ fleet, you will be working on Yulu Mobile Application which will include Maps, interaction with IoT devices via Bluetooth, and various other features. You will use your expertise in application development to evaluate and select development methods, processes, standard methodologies and tools. An eye for detail, Pixel perfection
and walking the extra mile to deliver a great user experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
● Designing and building mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.
● Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
● Develop test specs and approaches for the application
● Investigate and resolve performance issues, and inefficiencies
● Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.

Key Requirements
● Degree from a top engineering college, or equivalent technical background is preferred
● Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope and priorities
● 2-4 years of industry experience in iOS Mobile Application design and development, with minimum 2 apps deployed in App Store
● A deep familiarity with Swift. Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Maps, core Location, core Bluetooth and Core Animation
● Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively
● Ability to identify issues and improve application performance
● Experience in the usage of instruments to detect memory leaks for performance optimization
● Develop unit and functional test cases

Roles & responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of Javascript (ES6) including all the latest features

• Build and run apps using Xcode, and Android Studio
