Rekise Marine is a startup focused on sustainably enhancing the utility of the oceans through autonomous robotic infrastructure. Our mission is to develop advanced autonomous technologies for the maritime industry, serving both defense and commercial sectors globally. We specialize in creating autonomous vessels both surface and underwater as well as autonomous port infrastructure. Currently, we are building the flagship autonomous platform for the Indian Navy.

About the Role:

We are seeking a practical and detail-oriented Mechatronics Engineer with strong experience in CAD design, prototyping, and fabrication, along with working knowledge of electronics integration. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys building real systems—turning CAD models into working prototypes, selecting and integrating actuators and sensors, and ensuring that electromechanical assemblies can withstand the demanding conditions of the marine environment. You will work closely with both the mechanical and embedded systems teams to bring complex vessel subsystems from design to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electromechanical subsystems and assemblies for unmanned surface and underwater vessels.
• Create CAD models and detailed fabrication drawings for precision parts and mechanisms.
• Oversee and participate in fabrication, assembly, and integration of prototypes.
• Collaborate with electronics engineers to integrate sensors, actuators, propulsion units, and power systems into mechanical designs.
• Ensure proper sealing, compartmentalization, and robustness of assemblies for long-term marine operation.
• Participate actively in testing and validation, troubleshooting mechanical-electrical assemblies as required.
• Maintain documentation for design iterations, fabrication methods, and integration processes.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of experience in mechatronics, robotics, or mechanical design with electronics integration.
• Strong CAD skills (NX Preferred) and experience creating manufacturing-ready designs.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication methods: machining, sheet metal, 3D printing, and assembly.
• Exposure to integrating motors, actuators, sensors and power electronics into mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and collaborate on PCB + harness integration.
• Familiar with prototyping, testing, and refining systems under real-world conditions.

Good to Have:

• Experience with marine or underwater robotics.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and workshop practices.
• Understanding of tolerance stack-up, precision fits, and reliability in field deployment.

Skills & Qualifications

 2 years of experience in software development preferably B2C experience.

 Experience in React native, Javascript.

 Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux).

 Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6 & ES5 ).

 Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

 Experience in working with the MERN stack or similar frameworks

• Must have experience in Fiori apps implementation including configurations.

• Build Custom Fiori and extend Fiori applications

• Experience working with SAP Web IDE, BAS and different http services integration like REST/Web service.

• Experience in building applications on Business Transformation Platform will be add on

• Must have experience in Fiori Design patterns, UI Theme designer and Fiori Launchpad configurations and database experience with SAP or S/4 HANA.

Role Summary:

The Robotics Process Automation Senior Developer is responsible for designing and coding the automation process components. The RPA Senior developer develops the automation design to ensure it meets the specifications. The design must handle concurrency, scalability, restart and recovery, auditing & object reuse for all the automations that are designed and developed. The senor developer will also validate the automation by performing appropriate unit testing, and ensure configuration control is maintained at all times. The senior developer mentors junior developers and performs QC checks on code components developed by them.

DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities include, but may not be restricted to:

• Design technical specifications for RPA that meets the requirements and handled all the non functional requirements of concurrency, scalability, security requirements, restart and recovery.
• Develops and configures automation processes as per the technical design document to meet the defined requirements. Works on the coding the more complicated automations or reusable components, and delegates and mentors junior developers for the less complex components.
• Develops new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
• Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensures documentation is well maintained.
• Ensures quality of coded components by performing thorough unit testing.
• Works collaboratively with test teams during the Product test and UAT phases to fix assigned bugs with quality.
• Reports status, issues and risks to tech leads on a regular basis
• Improves skills in automation products by completing automation certification.
• Mentors junior developers and performs code reviews for quality control.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

• Bachelor university degree in Engineering/Computer Science.

KEY SKILLS

•  5- 8 years of IT experience and having good understanding of programming concepts.  Should be from a programming background on any coding language (.Net, Java).
• Working experience in RPA for a minimum of 2 years and having project experience of a minimum 3 RPA implementations.
• Understands development methodology and lifecycle
• Should be trained on RPA tools (Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere).
