Job Description:

An Assistant Engineer works as part of an engineering team to support various aspects of production, design, quality control, and maintenance. They are involved in project planning, process improvement, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role also includes monitoring safety regulations, analyzing test results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & Project Assistance

• Assist senior engineers in project design, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct research, collect data, and prepare technical reports.
• Participate in product development and testing processes.

1. Production & Process Optimization

• Monitor production activities and ensure smooth operation.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
• Coordinate with production teams to maintain workflow efficiency.

1. Quality Control & Assurance

• Conduct quality checks and inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
• Ensure products meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

1. Equipment Maintenance & Safety Compliance

• Ensure machines and tools are properly maintained.
• Follow safety protocols and assist in risk assessment.
• Train workers on the safe operation of equipment.

1. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of production, quality tests, and project progress.
• Prepare reports for senior engineers and management.
• Assist in preparing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar. • Previous work experience as an Angular developer. • Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code. • Experience using JavaScript building tools like Gulp or Grunt. • Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including Angular Ionic. • Excellent project management skills. • Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications. • Excellent communication skills. • Critical thinker and good problem-solver. Responsibilities -

• Support analytics roadmap and strategy by ensuring that the landscape is mature, resilient, and flexible to meet the business requirements without deviating from the overall IT vision

• Collaborate with businesses to identify opportunities, and pain areas, incubate analytics product ideas and deliver analytics applications in a digital native manner

• Hold the analytics program together

• Manage the analytics vertical end to end from setting up a platform grounds (a data lake equivalent) and deliver business value through analytics for starters and gradually by bringing in intelligence in everything we do.

Requirements -

• 5 - 7 years experience in a similar role

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ analytics

• Master’s degree (business administration/equivalent) with a focus on Analytics, data science

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a design leadership role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects.
• Expertise in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Canva).
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing talent.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex design concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Solid understanding of branding, user experience, and digital marketing principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
