Java Full-stack Developer

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build and maintain dynamic user interfaces using React (Next.js preferred) and Tailwind CSS

2. Develop efficient backend systems and APIs with a solid grasp of client-server architecture

3. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, primarily in JavaScript or TypeScript

4. Design and manage databases with PostgreSQL

5. Work with ORMs like Prisma or Drizzle to streamline database interactions

6. Design and consume REST APIs for seamless frontend-backend integration

7. Explore and integrate AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to enhance product features

8. Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability

9. Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to keep solutions cutting-edge

Other requirements

1. Demonstrate proficiency in React, with Next.js experience being a significant plus

2. Have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Prisma or Drizzle

3. Utilize Tailwind CSS for building modern, responsive UIs

4. Design and consume REST APIs, with a solid understanding of client-server architecture

5. Gain exposure to AI APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic (preferred)

6. Provide proof of work through GitHub (or similar) showcasing personal projects, contributions, or portfolio

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Junior React Native Developer to join our team and take the lead on developing our cross-platform mobile application. You’ll play a critical role in building, launching, and scaling a high-performance mobile app that runs seamlessly on both iOS and Android platforms from a single codebase.

• Lead the end-to-end development of a cross-platform mobile application using React Native.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize app performance for speed and scalability across devices and OS versions.
• Ensure the app complies with design standards and platform-specific guidelines (Apple App Store & Google Play).
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment (e.g., using Fastlane, EAS, or similar).
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Handle app store submissions and updates.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in mobile development.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 1+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with React Native.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React architecture.
• Deep knowledge of iOS and Android mobile app development lifecycle.
• Experience with mobile UI/UX best practices and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Android Studio).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling network latency issues.
• Proficient with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and agile development practices.
• Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, deep linking, and analytics SDKs.

Preferred:

• Experience with Expo or EAS for managed workflows.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, etc.).
• Experience with native modules (Objective-C/Swift and Java/Kotlin) as needed.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox).
• Published apps in both the App Store and Google Play.
• Prior experience in startups or high-growth environments.

Responsibilities:

 Work with development and product team to ideate software solutions

 Design client-side and server-side architecture

 Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

 Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

 Write effective APIs, Ability to quickly pick up new areas in the product and write optimal

code taking into consideration the security and performance aspects of the product.

 Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

 Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

 Create security and data protection settings

 Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

Skills:

 Proven experience of around 4-7yrs as a Full Stack Developer.

 Should be a full stack developer who can code on cutting-edge technology stacks including

Laravel, Nodejs, Express js, Python, React, Angular, MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Elastic Search,

Docker, AWS etc. for our clients.

 Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

 Familiarity with common stacks

 Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML,

jQuery)

 Strong Knowledge of multiple back-end languages and on frameworks or platforms (Phython

/ Express JS / Django etc), API / Serverless services, DB Schema Definition.

 Good to have stakeholder management, team leading, team mentoring, code management

under critical problem

 Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX

design

 Excellent communication and teamwork skills

 Great attention to detail and analytical skills.

 Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Tech or higher in Computer Science from a premier institute. (We are willing to waive this requirement if you are an exceptional programmer).

• You are a strong coder, Love to explore multiple languages and tech stacks; We are language-agnostic, and we love people who like to explore multiple stacks. We’re looking for people who can write clean, effective code.

• Building scalable & performant web systems with clear focus on reusable modules.

• You are comfortable in a high paced environment and can respond to urgent (and at times ambiguous) requests

• Ability to translate fuzzy business problems into technical problems & come up with design, estimates, planning, execution & deliver the solution independently.

Follow Agile development model to incrementally build out the applications with regular reviews with Product

• Knowledge in AWS would be great to have.

• Ability to work with databases, data pipelines.
