Java Developer

This role will be responsible for building, reviewing, deploying and maintaining the software solutions.

Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.

Identifying web-based user interactions.

Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts.

Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer

Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.

Monitoring and improving front-end performance.

Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Experience with user interface design.

Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.

Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery

Responsibilities :

Write optimised and efficient code and SQL, with the best coding and database design practices

Work with senior developers and implement code

Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Implement reusable code and dependencies for future use

Develop and test software

Identify and resolve any technical issues arising

Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging

Technical Skills

Excellent knowledge of how the Web works

Should have sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts 

Good  knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JS

Source versioning with the Git(Repository management System)

Good knowledge of the DBMS 

Good knowledge of GIT

Basic knowledge of Agile and SDLC

Able to understand and prepare Mock-ups, System Diagrams, and Algorithms/Flow Charts before execution of work.

The ability and the mindset to debug the code, using custom logs, use PHP logs, and use browser breakpoints in different browsers.

Good communication and writing skills

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and clarify the requirements and technical issues (including client interaction)
• Support creation of high and low level design
• Development and maintenance of automation code
• Build reusable Business objects as required
• Review the automation implemented code
• Deploy the code to multiple environments phase wise
• Provides regular status updates to clients and management
• Participates in research/design/implementation of appropriate automation tools
• Develop .net libraries using C# /.Net
• Design and develop SQL scripts – Stored procedures, queries, and functions
• Perform unit testing, support systems integration testing and UAT testing

Education, Experience, & Required Skills:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required
• 7+ years of overall IT experience
• 2+ years of overall development experience with leading RPA tool.
• Certified RPA Tool (UiPath, UiPath X, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) as developer
• Programming experience in Java, .Net, C, C#, .Net, Python
• Sufficient knowledge of RDBMS like ORACLE / MS SQL Server and SQL tools
• Knowledge in developing & understanding excel macros codes.
• Knowledge in Power BI, Excel Macro, web forms, mobile applications are preferable.
• Knowledge of service oriented architecture is preferable.
• Knowledge in Finance & Accounting domain is preferable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Effectively interact with various levels of management.

Job Description

• Design & implement backend APIs 
• Mentor junior developers technically.
• Actively work to reduce tech debt in the backend
• Work towards more stability & scalability of the backend
• Tech stack - Java, AWS, Aurora etc. 

Eligibility

• 4-8 years of product company experience
• OOP implementation experience. Programming language does not matter. We use Java internally but have hired folks from non Java background.
• Hands on experience in SQL, Dynamo DB, Postgres etc preferred. 
• Prior experience building REST APIs
• Advanced understanding of AWS stack
• Prior knowledge of solving problems at scale.
