We are seeking for a dedicated individual to join SmartDocs Business Solutions. The candidate will work with the product development team and must be a subject matter expert in-order to deliver the best practices; an ideal candidate must possess excellent business skills with outstanding communication, professionalism & leadership and must have minimum 3 - 6 years of experience in JAVA as a full stack developer.

Desirable Skills & Expertise:

v  Minimum 3 – 6 years of experience as a full stack developer (Preferable from product based entity).  At least a year of experience in managing a team is mandatory.

v  Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (CSE / IT / MCA / Software) are preferred.

v  Work exp. in Java, Frame-works like : Spring, Spring boot; J2EE technologies like Servlets, JSP and Web Application Server is mandatory.

v  Strong skills in HTML, Java Script, XML, CSS and Mango DB.

v  Product development in Linux environment is an added advantage.

v  Possesses intellectual humility; smart, driven, creative and able to learn things from slipups, willing to raise others up.

v  Excellent Communication & Analytical skills with integrated professionalism at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø  The role is responsible for designing, coding and deploying of high-performance applications.

Ø  Deep expertise and hands on experience as a Core JAVA Developer.

Ø  Team Management, Excellent interpersonal, Communication and effective organizational skills and solid technical skills.

Ø  Should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.

Ø  Excellent trouble shootings & problem-solving skills.

Ø  Experience with SDLC from requirement analysis through testing and deployment.

Ø  Must be an expert in technologies like J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Web Application, HTML, Java Script, XML, CSS, Mango DB and JAVA frameworks – Spring boot.

Ø  Develop and maintain strong product knowledge.

Ø  Guide the clients through various stages of the project and transition to support organization.

Ø  Review existing business processes and participate in the Process Improvement Program.

• Software Design and Development: Lead and contribute to the design, architecture, and development of software applications within the "I" domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to define requirements and specifications for software projects. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them in best practices, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Act as a subject matter expert in software design principles, programming languages, and development methodologies. • System Integration: Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate software components with hardware systems or existing software infrastructure. Ensure seamless integration and compatibility of software modules. • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Review code written by other team members to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainability. Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects. • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and user manuals. • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to the "I" domain. Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies that can enhance the software development process and product performance. • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, estimate effort, and plan development timelines. Job description

· You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.

· You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable , supportable and demo the software products to stakeholders

· You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.

· You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.

· You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.

· You will be encourage to actively look for innovation and continuous improvement, efficiency in all assigned tasks.

SKILLS

· Expert knowledge of Java/J2EE/MVC based web development. springboot, Angular will be preferred.

· Hands on coding, you will be working in agile scrum teams.

· Ability to learn latest concepts and willing to learn

· Exposure/ Experience on Spring/ Frameworks/ Unit testing/and working knowledge of RDBMS.

· Strong OOPS concepts.

· Experience in working on Core JAVA, J2EE, JEE.

· Strong experience in frameworks with implementation.

· Experience in designing J2EE application (EJB / JMS / Servlets / JSP / jQuery/ JSON/ JavaScript/SQL)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Science/ IT/ Computing or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of the product.

4. A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS or related field) from IITs and Premier Engineering College.
5. Excellent Object Orientation, coupled with excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
6. Highly skilled at Java and related technologies, including Java Frameworks like Spring-boot or Drop wizard, RESTful web services, J SON, Servlet, JSP, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, AWS, Solr.
7. Must have hands-on experience in building scalable and secure back-end systems.
8. Have hands-on experience with systems that are asynchronous, RESTful and demand concurrency
9. Good to have knowledge of best software engineering practices for all stages of the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, deployment.
10. 5-9 years of software development experience in Java with web architecture and scalable design.
11. Experience with agile development, continuous delivery, and DevOps and related tools.
12. Proactive and communicative to be closely aligned within the Product Management and customer requirements.
13. Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to develop technical and business artifacts.
