Lead technical Consultant

This is a Backend-heavy Polyglot developer role - 80% Backend 20% Frontend

Backend 

1. 1st Primary Language - Java or Python or Go Or ROR or Rust 
2. 2nd Primary Language - one of the above or Node

The candidate should be experienced in atleast 2 backend tech stacks.

Frontend 

1. React or Angular 
2. HTML, CSS

The interview process would be quite complex and require depth of experience. The candidate should be hands-on in backend and frontend development (80-20)

The candidate should have experience with Unit testing, CI/CD, devops etc.

Good Communication skills is a must have.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend applications.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
• Identify and implement performance optimizations.
• Participate in code reviews
• Hands-on experience with Springboot, Java 8 and above.
• 2-5 years of experience developing Java applications.
• Knowledge about at least one messaging system like Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.
• Required React developer requirements, qualifications & skills:
• Proficiency in React.js and its core principles
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with design patterns and best practices for Java development.
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
• Experience with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with one of these databases – Postgres, MongoDb, Cassandra
• Knowledge on Retail or OMS is a plus.
• Experienced in containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps mindset
• Ability to reverse engineer existing/legacy and document findings on confluence.
• Create automated tests for unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing, to meet established expectations and acceptance criteria.

Lead a team of software developers to deliver customer requirements,

on time, within budget while ensuring high level of quality.

● Tracking a project against schedules and taking corrective actions on

slippage. Escalation to the next level in case of slippage / likely slippage

in time or quality parameters.

● Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders

● Regular coordination with clients, internal resources and third

parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project

● Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within

budget

● Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all

relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

● Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

● Report and escalate to management as needed

● Perform risk management to minimize potential risks

Role: Engineer/Sr Engineer -Java 

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: 

The Product Development Engineer is responsible for the front-end development of modules for enlivening CEM. 

The engineer is responsible for end to end delivery of specific components in the module and integrating them with existing modules 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Working with technical architects, able to convert the architecture into design and code in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, and NodeJS. 

• Able to generate LLD documents. 

• Ability to write Quality code with minimum defects. 

• Unit Test and follow the coding standards. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: 

• 5+ years of strong programming and logical skills in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, Object-Oriented Javascript, NodeJS and HTML5 

• Hands-on Experience with Java (Spring Boot), and MySQL is mandatory. Must have completed at least 2 full projects using Spring boot and AngularJS.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Spring JPA and RESTful web services implementation.

• NodeJS experience is value add 

• Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.

• Must be able to mentor and guide junior technical resources.

• Experience with RESTful services, Rabbit MQ, JSON, Unix Scripting, and Hadoop is a plus.
• Core development experience in large scale enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework.
• Experience in SQL (DB2 & SQL databases)
• Strong knowledge and experience on Nginx as APIM tool Solid experience in coding and creating APIs.
•  Expertise in WSDL, XML, XSLT, JSON, XPATH and Gateway scripts
• Provide front line support for Nginx related problems by being involved in troubleshooting, root cause analysis and appropriate secure integration recommendations.
• Installation of Nginx API Gateway as per need.
• Experience in Containers and Kubernetes.
• Good linux and administration skills
• Experience on API Orchestration/Mediation/Protocol Bindings and transformation knowledge on disparate message structures
• Design, develop and implement API proxies using OpenAPI specification Analysing logs and trace for errors and exceptions Manage and publish content in Developer portal Security implementation using OAUTH, SAML, CORS 
• Must Have Knowledge of API development and its technologies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work with Product Managers and Business to understand business/product requirements and vision.
• Provide a clear architectural vision in line with business and product vision.
• Lead a team of architects, developers, and data engineers to provide platform services to other engineering teams.
• Provide architectural oversight to engineering teams across the organization.
• Hands on design and development of platform services and features owned by self - this is a hands-on coding role.
• Define guidelines for best practices covering design, unit testing, secure coding etc.
• Ensure quality by reviewing design, code, test plans, load test plans etc. as appropriate.
• Work closely with the QA and Support teams to track quality and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with DevOps and IT to ensure highly secure and cost optimized operations in the cloud.

Skills/Experience

• 12+ years of experience in design and development of ecommerce scale systems and highly scalable SaaS or enterprise products.

• Expert level understanding of secure application design practices and a working understanding of cloud infrastructure security.

Qualification

B.Tech/MCA (IT/Computer Science) from a premier institution (IIT/NIT/BITS) and/or a US Master's degree in Computer Science.

Strong experience on Spring ecosystem (Core, MVC, data, JPA, transaction management, security, AOP, Batch & Boot). Comfortable performing integration tests in Spring context.

Strong experience on JDBC and DB concepts.

Experience of TDD/BDD approach and prior experience working with CI/CD tools (Maven, Git, jenkins)

Strong experience on ORM (hibernate) and PL/SQL procedures

Knowledge of some of UI latest languages / frameworks ( Html5, Angular 4+)

Knowledge of SOA/Microservices (REST, Soap) and its challenges
