Overview of the Role –SSE/TL/ STL– Java Full Stack Dev (Java + React js)

Location: Chennai / Hyderabad

Reporting To: Project Manager

Role Description

We are looking for a candidate with Java backend experience combined with UI exposure preferably with React JS. The candidate shall be required to member of a SW Development team, demonstrating technical person. The candidate would be required to demonstrate high degree of ownership; velocity and mentor the team members.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for our digital products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, translate requirements into wireframes and prototypes, and design user-friendly interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and engagement. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, business objectives, and technical constraints.
2. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
3. Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts and interaction patterns.
4. Design user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing across various devices and platforms.
5. Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision.
6. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data analysis to continuously improve the user experience.
7. Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions while maintaining design integrity.
8. Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.
10. Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the organization.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and process.
3. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision.
4. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and design thinking methodologies.
5. Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions.
6. Strong visual design skills, with an eye for typography, color, layout, and iconography.
7. Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first design approach.
8. Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in full project life cycle (including requirement analysis, system design, development, and support if required).
• Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other developers to plan project work by providing estimates, risk analysis, technical options.
• Support and work collaboratively with teams across areas of design, development, quality assurance, and operations.
• Help define the vision for a product, identify dead ends and routes with untapped potential.
• Attend meetings to discuss and demonstrate solutions at both a technical and business level.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of web application development experience using at least one of the following: Javascript, Web Components, Angular, Polymer, ReactJS, Redux, LitElement, Svelte, VueJS, or knockout.js. Web Components is used and preferred.
• Experience with SPA (Single Page Application) design and implementation
• Experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/ and AJAX
• Experience working with a variety of APIs and RESTful interfaces
• Experience with performance optimization
• Experience integrating security best practices into the SDLC
• Experience with Git
• 1+ years of Agile development experience
• Experience manipulating and working with data in a variety of forms: csv, xml, json, structured and unstructured

Desirable Skills

• SQL experience. PostGreSQL a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments is a plus.
• Knowledge JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, or BitBucket a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience working with databases and web applications in analytics, reporting or Business Intelligence is a plus.

• Good experience and exposure of cloud native architecture, development and deployment on public clouds AWS, Google Cloud etc
• Responsible for Linux server installation, maintain, monitoring, data backup and recovery, securtiy and administration
• Understanding of clusters, distributed architecture, container environment 
• Experience in networking, including linux, software defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks
• Knowledge of several middleware such as MySQL, Apache etc
• Responsible for managing network storage
• Disaster recovery and incident response planning
• Configuring/monitoring firewalls, routers, switches and other network devices

• Support the globally distributed cloud development and teams by mainitaning the cloud infrastructure labs hosted in a hybrid cloud environment
• Contribute towards optimization of preformance and acost of running the labs
