About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our core engineering team and help build high-

throughput, low-latency services that power real-time trading at scale. What We’re Looking For

your peers to a high engineering bar. What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and own backend microservices for a real-time trading platform — from API contracts

through to production observability. • Work with databases, caches, and event-driven architectures to ensure high availability and data

consistency across distributed systems. • Build integrations with third-party financial services — clearing, settlement, identity verification, and

payment rails. • Define and enforce engineering standards — code reviews, testing strategies, API design conventions, and incident response processes. • Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into

well-scoped technical deliverables. • Participate in on-call rotations and own production reliability for the services you build. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Must-Have

• 5+ years backend engineering experience with Golang and Java in production. • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and event-driven messaging (Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ). • Experience building and maintaining REST/gRPC APIs at scale with proper error handling, rate limiting, and versioning. • Understanding of financial systems — ledgers, reconciliation, order lifecycle, or payment processing.

• Experience with microservices architecture, API gateways, and service-to-service communication

patterns. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS or

GCP). • Strong debugging and incident-response skills in distributed systems. Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience at a brokerage, wealth-tech, neo-bank, or payments company. • Experience with clearing broker integrations or introducing broker models. • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for cross-border financial products. • Experience with search infrastructure (Typesense, Elasticsearch). • Background in performance engineering — profiling, load testing, and latency optimization. MANDATORY:

• Strong sales, business development and networking profile
• Must have 1+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development in investment Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity, or related fields

Deal Sourcing & Origination:

• Identify and engage startups, early-stage companies, and growth businesses seeking funding or strategic investment partners.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of investment opportunities and fundraising mandates.

Relationship Building:

• Develop deep relationships with founders, CXOs, and decision-makers across industries.
• Collaborate closely with the internal investment team to evaluate opportunities for both advisory and co-investment.

Market Research & Intelligence:

• Monitor emerging trends, sectors, and disruptive business models in the startup ecosystem.
• Track competitor activity and ecosystem developments to stay ahead of market shifts.

Fundraising Support:

• Pitch the firm’s advisory services and investment philosophy to startups and entrepreneurs.
• Assist in designing outreach strategies to attract quality fundraising mandates and co-investment opportunities.

Networking & Branding:

• Represent the firm at startup events, pitch competitions, and investor forums.
• Build thought leadership and enhance the firm’s brand presence within the startup and investment ecosystem.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or related fields. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience:

• 1-4 years of experience in sales, business development, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, fundraising processes, and investment models.

Skills:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for our wealth management brand. The role involves editing educational, promotional, and social media videos that build trust, clarity, and brand credibility among investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for social media, YouTube, website, ads, and internal communications
• Create engaging short-form content (Reels, Shorts) and long-form videos
• Add graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music
• Ensure videos align with BFC Capital’s brand tone and compliance guidelines
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and leadership teams
• Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)

As an Enterprise Security Architect you will join a growing organization to lead a modern enterprise security program. In this role the Architect will have responsibility for identifying, defining, developing, leading security technology strategy across a broad portfolio of IAM, Cloud, End Point, Network, Web security and related technology systems, and the assessment of new and emerging identity technologies at the very large enterprise scale.

As a senior member of the team you will engage and partner with senior leaders across the organization leveraging your extensive background in (managing / delivering / implementing / architecting) security technology combined with expertise in organizational and cross-functional communication to develop strategy, influence roadmaps, solution adoption, champion strategic opportunities / execution plans with the aim to improve security capabilities, reduce risk and position forward looking identity governance and security enhancements

• Responsible for defining an architectural vision and architecture for large complex solutions, which aligns with the enterprise architecture strategy, technology and platform choices

• Describes the solution intent and the associated operating environment, determining the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, defining non-functional requirements and architectural runway to support new epics/features and expand into new opportunities
