How you fit in

Engineering is the executional function of EAGLE's software delivery wing. As a senior server-side developer at Eagle, you will drive complex projects being built from scratch, and lead the junior members of the team. Not only are you expected to write clean, tested, and maintainable code, you will also be a central part of a product team that iterates constantly, ships regularly, and learns continuously. What your role consists of:

• Collaborate with engineers, UI/UX designers, and product owners to build & ship new features and maintain/enhance existing ones

Position : Backend Developer – SDE3 : Java/Nodejs

Requirements

● Experience in working with data platform & data lake pipeline building is preferred.

● Experience designing & developing distributed systems involving multiple web services, databases (both SQL and NoSQL), caches, queues, etc. taking into consideration scalability, availability, fault tolerance, consistency, etc. of the overall system

● Well-aware of and enforces development best practices: Unit Tests, Code Reviews, Integration Tests, CI/CD, Monitoring, Alerting, etc

• You will build cutting-edge secure and scalable systems by writing simple and efficient code.
• You will own the backend development for one or more of our modules and collaborate with architects, other engineers, and product managers to launch new products and/or iterate on existing features. You'll build and manage automated build/test/deployment environments
• Ensure high standards through code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions
• You will ensure that the systems you oversee are secure, fault-tolerant, and are performing reliably at high volumes.

• Well-versed in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Programming experience with at least one of Java or Python and object-oriented design

• Able to write unit integration tests with coverage of code & interfaces. TDD is a plus
