We’re hiring a Software Development Engineer in Bangalore to build the systems that keep real-world operations running — from customer-facing products to the internal tools field teams depend on every morning.

→ Design, build, and ship across the stack: backend services, APIs, mobile/web field apps, and operational dashboards

→ Build systems for deployment, attendance, check-in/check-out, work verification, and issue resolution

→ Make products work in low-connectivity, field-heavy conditions with offline-first and vernacular-first experiences

→ Own features end to end — from design discussions to deployment to on-call

→ Work closely with Product, Ops, and field users to solve what’s actually happening on the ground

→ Contribute to data pipelines and analytics that power planning, forecasting, and unit economics

• 1–5 years building production software

• Comfortable across the stack, or deep in one area and ready to stretch

• Strong ownership mindset — you ship, debug production issues, and care if it works for the user

• Pragmatic with trade-offs and able to balance speed with quality

• Bonus if you’ve built for low-bandwidth, offline-first, next-billion-user contexts

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptionally strong AI Product Engineer who is passionate about building AI-powered products that solve real-world problems. You will work on designing, developing, and deploying intelligent backend systems powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), modern AI frameworks, and scalable Python services.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, have a strong foundation in algorithms and logical reasoning, and are excited to build production-grade AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python.
• Build AI-powered features leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
• Develop APIs and backend architectures for AI applications.
• Optimize AI workflows for performance, latency, and scalability.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python Backend Development.
• Excellent understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models.
• Strong logical reasoning and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience building REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech from IITs, BITS Pilani, or NITs (preferred).
• Experience working on AI products deployed in production.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.

Experience

• 1+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Python and AI/ML applications.

Responsibilities:
● Work in close coordination with senior management to define strategy and targets for FI Partnerships
● Develop the pitch, collateral, presentations and other supporting material to adequately demonstrate risk/reward for the Financial Institution partners
● Generate leads pipeline (inbound and outbound) and implementation plan
● Lead and prepare presentations to Financial Institutions
● End to end management of the process for acquiring partners for the platformincluding conclusion of commercials, legal agreement, system integration etc
● Coordination with internal teams like Legal, Credit Risk, Product etc and with external teams of the Bank or Financial Institutions
● Progressively reduce financing cost profile across the platform and NBFC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
2. Design and develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
3. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in the reports by working closely with data engineers and data architects.
4. Optimize and streamline existing Power BI reports and dashboards for better performance and user experience.
5. Develop and maintain data models and data connections to various data sources, ensuring seamless data integration.
6. Implement security measures and data access controls to protect sensitive information in Power BI reports.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data refresh, and connectivity problems.
8. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and capabilities, and evaluate their potential use in improving existing solutions.
9. Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to promote self-service BI capabilities and enable them to create their own reports.
10. Collaborate with the wider data and analytics team to identify opportunities for using Power BI to enhance business processes and decision-making.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous Power BI projects.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and M (Power Query) to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
4. Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles to create engaging and intuitive dashboards.
5. Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and database design concepts.
6. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
7. Ability to work with various data sources, including relational databases, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues in Power BI reports.
9. Familiarity with data security and governance practices in the context of Power BI development.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
11. Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
