
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Implementation Lead to drive the end-to-end deployment of our payment gateway solutions. This role is crucial in bridging business needs, technical execution, and client success. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payment systems, experience managing cross-functional teams, conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and overseeing integration flows for payment gateways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the implementation of payment gateway solutions across varied client environments.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and support, during the implementation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with clients to gather business and technical requirements, design tailored solutions, and develop clear implementation roadmaps.
- Plan, conduct, and manage UAT sessions with clients; capture feedback and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Design, review, and optimize payment flow processes such as authorization, capture, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on payment gateway technologies, API integrations, and industry compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and procedural documentation.
- Ensure seamless handover of projects to support and operations teams post-implementation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the payment gateway or fintech domain.
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams or managing cross-functional projects.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end implementation projects successfully.
- Strong knowledge of payment gateway flows, including APIs, SDKs, tokenization, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with UAT planning, execution, and client coordination.
- Familiarity with integrating major payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, UPI, etc.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of compliance standards like PCI-DSS, PSD2, etc.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, and payment testing utilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
