Role Description

The core sales executive in a freight brokerage company plays a vital role in supporting the sales and logistics operations. This position bridges the gap between account executives, operations, customers, and carrier partners. The coordinator is responsible for managing customer inquiries, assisting with freight quotes, preparing sales documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination of freight movement. The goal is to provide excellent customer service, maintain organized communication, and support the sales team in achieving revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support freight brokers and sales executives with day-to-day sales activities.
• Assist with quoting, order entry, and coordinating shipments with carriers and customers.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Communicate with carriers to confirm availability, rates, and transit times.
• Prepare documents such as rate confirmations, bills of lading (BOL), and shipment schedules.
• Help generate and maintain reports on sales performance, customer activity, and KPIs.
• Provide high-level customer service and resolve issues or delays proactively.
• Coordinate with accounting for billing and invoice reconciliation related to sales.
• Maintain organized records of quotes, contracts, and shipment history.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in an ed tech, telesales, logistics transportation, or freight brokerage environment preferred.
• Familiarity with freight types (LTL, FTL, and intermodal) and logistics terms is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in distributing IT Network Security Products, Endpoint Security, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), Software, Desktop/Laptop sales, and Networking Products Sales through Channel Partners. This role involves managing partner and customer relationships, working collaboratively with OEMs/partners, and leading a team of Partner Channel Sales Managers.

Responsibilities :

- Distribute IT Network Security Products, Endpoint Security, DLP, Software, Desktop/Laptop sales, and Networking Products through Channel Partners.

- Manage and nurture relationships with partners and customers.

- Collaborate effectively with OEMs and partners.

- Assign and align daily and monthly sales tasks for the team.

- Achieve sales targets and strategic objectives in partner accounts.

- Lead joint partner planning to establish performance objectives, financial targets, and milestones.

- Continuously assess and address partner needs.

- Coordinate with partner sales resources to sell through partner organizations to end users.

- Manage potential channel conflicts by maintaining clear communication and adherence to channel rules.

- Lead solution development efforts that meet end-user requirements.

With our Product Engineering team rapidly iterating and deploying new code, our Test Engineers drive the crucial effort of designing automated test suites that are reliable and maintainable. This team is tasked with ensuring the automated testing of Socure’s existing code and developing thorough test approaches for new features and products.

• Work closely with the rest of the Engineering team to deliver high quality products in an agile development environment
• Participate in product design discussions and sprint planning meetings
• Participate in full cycle SDLC: initial design, test implementation, identifying bugs, verifying bug fixes and production release
• Design and write comprehensive test plans and test cases for releases
• Perform manual and automated testing for REST web service APIs / web applications
• Build and enhance automated test suites and test harnesses
• Improve and maintain high coverage of regression automated tests

• Test and verify requirements of newly implemented code by Engineering for Data Scientists

• 5+ years of experience with testing, test automation and development
• Strong experience in designing and reviewing test plans and test cases
• Solid experience in both manual and automated testing for REST web service APIs and/or web applications
• Experience in automation frameworks, like testNG, Selenium or Cypress
• Strong coding skills in programming languages like Java, Scala or Javascript
• Experience working in an agile development environment

• Good understanding of Linux / Unix platform
