Job Overview

As a Corporate Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the visual design aspects of our brand. You will lead a team of designers, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our brand's design guidelines are consistently applied across all touchpoints. Your role is instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our brand's visual identity, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer experience, improving UI and UX design, and creating digital videos for intros, outros, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Design Strategy: Develop and execute the corporate design strategy, ensuring it aligns with our brand values and objectives.
2. Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of designers, providing guidance and fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
3. Brand Consistency: Ensure that design elements, including logos, colour schemes, typography, and imagery, adhere to brand guidelines across all materials and platforms.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other departments to align design efforts with overall business goals and messaging.
5. Design Production: Create and oversee the production of visual materials such as marketing collateral, presentations, packaging, and digital content.
6. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to maintain a high standard of design excellence and consistency.
7. Digital Video Production: Design and produce digital videos for video intros, outros, presentations and similar to enhance our brand's visual appeal.
8. Corporate Presentation Design: Develop compelling and visually engaging corporate presentations for internal and external audiences. Create templates that users across the organisation can use.
9. Proficiency in Design Software: Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, to create and edit design assets.
10. UI and UX Design: Enhance user interfaces and user experiences, ensuring a seamless and visually pleasing interaction with our products and services.
11. Research and Trends: Stay up-to-date with design trends and emerging technologies to keep our brand visually competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in design, with a focus on corporate branding and UI UX design
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating your design expertise and experience, including digital video projects, corporate presentations and UIUX work.

Experience: 1 to 2 years

• Being the single point of contact for all the graphic design needs in the product

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in graphic designing using various tools
• Hands on experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Hands on experience in various tools (After effects, Premiere pro)
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to design and develop graphics and various graphical content to connect with the audiences that are most relevant to us, in a way that’s relevant for them and ensuring the communication is specific and meaningful
• Abilities to balance the WOW (be noticed), HOW (engage and educate) and NOW (drive action) of content marketing

About the position
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our award-winning, talented team, building the next generation automated drone applications for our global customers. Ideal candidate gets to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, result-driven environment. Applicants must have substantial experience informing designs through critical design thinking, rationalizing for B2B systems, websites and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.

• Quickly and iteratively create interaction flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups throughout the design process

• Present design work to UX, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

• Design graphics user interface elements like menus, tabs and widgets.

• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.

• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.

• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables).

• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.

• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).

• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
