Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on QA Lead with deep expertise in WebdriverIO, Automation Testing, and Manual Testing using JavaScript and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will lead QA efforts across projects, mentor team members, and ensure product quality across all stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:

> Lead the QA team in planning, designing, and executing test strategies (both automation and manual).

> Build and maintain test automation frameworks using WebdriverIO, JavaScript, and TypeScript. > Ensure thorough testing of web applications across different browsers and devices.

> Identify test requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts).

> Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Owners, DevOps) to define quality standards.

> Drive continuous improvement in testing strategies and processes. > Review and analyze system specifications and identify areas of risk.

> Prepare detailed test reports and dashboards for leadership visibility.

Required Skills & Experience:

> 8+ years of QA experience with a minimum of 2+ years in a QA Lead role.

> Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO for automation testing.

> Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

> Solid understanding of both Manual and Automation testing practices.

> Experience in CI/CD integration for test automation pipelines.

> Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured is a plus.

> Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

> Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

•    A minimum of 4-5 years of work experience in software development/engineering projects
• High proficiency in Python language programming (Basic & Advanced)
•    Proficiency in web-based development (HTML, Javascript, Flask Python Microframework)
•  Proficiency in Linux bash scripting; Windows batch scripting
• Experience in interfacing python tools with relational databases – At least 2 of these (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgress)
• Experience with software configuration management tools: git (preferred); Rational Clear Case or SVN-Subversion
• Project experience in Microsoft Office tools automation (Excel/VBA, Outlook, ODBC)
• Result oriented with a focus on product quality and customer satisfaction 
• Team player, open communication, and ability to work with the international team 
• Excellent Communication skills
• Good knowledge of 5G & LTE network architecture and network optimization - Optional

Roles & responsibilities:-

Exposure to US/International Clients (Preferred) Prior Experience in Digital Marketing (Search Engine Optimization) / Project Coordinator / Project Manager roles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills able to generate interest and engages the client during calls and emails.
• Manage projects, and establish productive, professional and profitable relationships with key personnel and clients in assigned projects.
• Coordinate with various departments within the organization, including support, service, and technology and manage resources, to ensure seamless functioning of the client accounts.
• Responsible for client receivables; planning and execution of monthly retention.
• Candidates with Project Management, Digital Marketing & Technical Skills are Preferred.

• Document all requests and comments made by clients to ensure timely feedback and follow-up actions of client escalations/queries.
• Ability to maintain a positive, motivational, 'get things done attitude, especially when faced with difficult circumstances.
• Achieves strategic customer objectives and account plans defined by company management.
• Good relationship-building skills (internal, external, and cross-cultural).
• Sound computer skills, especially in the areas of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary actions required and always keeping the internal team updated.

• Maintain a consistent schedule of online meetings with the client to manage performance objectives, and customer- expectations and assess customer needs on an ongoing basis.
