Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing web applications while mentoring junior developers. Strong communication skills and leadership abilities are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development

• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Implement best coding practices, reusable components, and maintain high-performance applications.

Technical Leadership

• Lead a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical mentorship.
• Ensure the team follows best practices, development standards, and project timelines.

Backend & Database Management

• Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend logic.
• Optimize MongoDB queries, indexing, and schema design for performance.

Frontend Development

• Develop interactive and responsive UI components using React.js, Redux, Next.js, or TypeScript.
• Ensure seamless user experience and cross-browser compatibility.

Collaboration & Deployment

• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and DevOps for smooth project execution.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments (AWS, Firebase, Heroku), and ensure system security.

Requirements:

✔ 3 years of experience in MERN Stack development.

✔ Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred), and modern frameworks.

✔ Experience leading teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

✔ Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance issues.

We’re building a smart assistant that ingests client docs (bank statements, payslips, loan summaries) and uses modular AI agents to extract, classify, and summarize financial data in minutes, not hours. Think OCR + AI agents + compliance-ready outputs.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Building

As part of our early technical team, you’ll help us develop and launch our MVP. Key modules include:

• Document ingestion and OCR processing (Textract, Document AI)
• AI agent workflows using LangChain or CrewAI
• Serviceability calculators with business rule engines
• React + Next.js frontend for brokers and analysts
• FastAPI backend with PostgreSQL
• Security, encryption, audit logging (privacy-first design)

🎯 We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Python (FastAPI, OCR, LLMs, prompt engineering)
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Autogen, or similar)
• Frontend skills in React.js / Next.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud storage (AWS/GCP)
• Understanding of financial documents and data privacy best practices

Bonus Points:

• Experience with OCR tools like Amazon Textract, Tesseract, or Document AI
• Building ML/NLP pipelines in real-world apps
• Prior work in fintech, lending, or proptech sectors

Very good knowledge of at least one front end technology like AngularJs, ReactJs, ViewJs

Very good experience in AJAX, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS3, bootstrap.

Good experience working for APIs and web-services

Should have good experience working for GIT or Bitbucket

Excellent Communication

Able to communicate with International client directly

- Strong logic and analytical skills.

- 5+ Years of experience with PHP, React.js, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3.

- Database Experience - Postgres or other relational databases.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, bitbucket.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.

- Experience with modern dev stack (Docker, Kubernetes) as well as cloud hosting solutions would be an added advantage but not compulsory.

- Use SOAP and REST to implement API integrations

- Flexible to Learn new technologies!!

7. Ability to debug application.

8. Should have complete knowledge on developing RESTful Services.

9. Should be able to also work in agile development methodology.
10. Work with designated JavaScript framework to design, develop, and debug web applications
11. Can work on Angular and Integrate backend services
12. Work with the team to manage, optimize, and customize multiple web applications
13. Manage end to end module lifecycle management of the product
14. Push and pull codes via Git repository

Competency Requirements

1. Experience in NodeJS, Java and development using AngularJS / ReactJS
2. Experience in front end frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js, Bootstrap, Foundation etc
3. Experience in client/server application development
4. Knowledge of agile development methodologies
5. Knowledge of unit testing theory
6. Knowledge of AWS cloud
7. Experience in Java, Python and Go will be added advantage

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 2+ years of experience in Java skills.
• 2+ years of hands-on HTML5/CSS3 experience.
• Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJs or Angular 2.0; experience preferred.
• Experience of working with HTTP 1.1, and HTTP/2.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON RPC.
• Ability to write clean, bug-free code that is easy to understand and easily maintainable.
• Experience following Git workflows.
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm and CI/CD pipeline etc.).

•  Developing both frontend and backend of application using technologies like Java,   Angular, JavaScript, HTML5.
