MERN Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer with 3-4 years of experience in theme customization, custom app development (both public and private), and plugin development for Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify’s platform and ecosystem, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and optimize Shopify themes to meet client specifications.
• Develop custom Shopify apps (both public and private) to extend the functionality of the Shopify platform.
• Create and integrate custom plugins for Shopify stores.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement new features and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, apps, and plugins.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure the highest quality of development work.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for existing Shopify stores.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Shopify development.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Experience with Shopify theme customization and development.
• Proven experience in developing custom Shopify apps (both public and private).
• Knowledge of Shopify API and its usage.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and a good understanding of e-commerce best practices.

We are looking for a talented Fullstack Developer with 2-5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MongoDB, Express, React, and Node. As a Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web-based applications and services.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the product and engineering teams to develop high-quality web-based applications and services.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Design and develop the front-end user interface using React.
• Create and maintain MongoDB databases and related services.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases for both front-end and back-end applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and AI.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer with expertise in MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Experience in front-end development using React.
• Experience in database development using MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in automated testing using Jest, Cypress, or other similar frameworks is a plus.
• Experience in AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.

Skills Required

• 8+ years of industry work experience
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• 3+ years of web application development with JavaScript as full stack
• Full stack experience designing and building scalable applications from end-to-end 
• Excellent JavaScript / Typescript skills
• Strong proficiency in React (hooks knowledge is plus)
• Strong proficiency in Nodejs
• Good HTML5 / CSS3 skills with expertise on responsive web design 
• Must have Design and development experience in Micro services using NodeJS and TypeScript
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, mongoose, aggregation framework and Redis 
• Experience with Web sockets and related frameworks (e.g. Socket.IO) 
• Experience in using and developing GraphQL APIs
• Experience in performance tuning
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.
• Open minded to take up any challenge, research and provide solutions 
• Great attention to detail
• Testing libraries – jest, testing-library is plus
• TDD / BDD experience is plus
• Experience with AWS, K8S, CI/CD is plus
• Familiar with SDLC methodologies like SCRUM, AGILE, Continuous Integration

• Design – Analyze, design & document the system / solution based on the business needs which is scalable, resilient and maintainable with low overhead for both client and server side
• Problem solving – Solve the challenges and problems faced by team by guiding and team with best practices
• Coordinate - Communicate system requirements to developers; explain system structure to them and provide assistance
• Code Reviews – Perform code reviews 
• Planning – Plan and assign tasks to team members
• Develop – Develop micro services and micro frontends
