Job Description

Wissen Technology is seeking an experienced C# .NET Developer to build and maintain applications related to streaming market data. This role involves developing message-based C#/.NET applications to process, normalize, and summarize large volumes of market data efficiently. The candidate should have a strong foundation in Microsoft .NET technologies and experience working with message-driven, event-based architecture. Knowledge of capital markets and equity market data is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain message-based C#/.NET applications for processing real-time and batch market data feeds.
• Build robust routines to download and process data from AWS S3 buckets on a frequent schedule.
• Implement daily data summarization and data normalization routines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data providers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable market data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize market data pipelines to ensure low latency and high reliability.
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience programming in C# and Microsoft .NET framework.
• Strong understanding of message-based and real-time programming architectures.
• Experience working with AWS services, specifically S3, for data retrieval and processing.
• Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Equity market data, FX, Futures & Options, and capital markets concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated, curious, and analytical mindset with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As part of our team, you'll play a key role in building and evolving our Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solution. This platform empowers our clients to seamlessly connect systems, automate workflows, and scale integrations with modern cloud-native tools.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Designing and Building Integrations
• Collaborate with clients to understand integration needs and build scalable, event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and EventBridge.

• Develop and deploy microservices and serverless functions using TypeScript (Node.js), hosted on Kubernetes (EKS) and fully integrated with core AWS services like S3, SQS, and SNS.

• Managing Data Pipelines
• Build robust data flows and streaming pipelines using Kafka and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.

• Client Collaboration
• Work directly with customers to gather requirements, design integration patterns, and provide guidance on best practices for cloud-native architectures.

• Driving Platform Evolution
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our iPaaS platform—enhancing observability, scaling capabilities, and CI/CD processes using modern DevOps practices.

WHAT WE NEED IN YOU

• Solid Experience in Apache Kafka for data streaming and event-driven systems
• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized deployments
• Deep knowledge of AWS, including S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Lambda
• Proficient in TypeScript (Node.js environment)
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, async messaging, and DevOps practices
• AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect or Developer Associate) is a plus

Qualification

• Graduate - BE / Btech or equivalent.
• 5 to 8 years of experience
• Self motivated and quick learner with excellent problem solving skills. 
• A good team player with nice communication skills.

Backend Developer :- (3 - 12 yrs)

What You'll Need?

• Knowledge of languages (JavaScript, Python) and frameworks/systems (nodejs)
• Strong analytical skills and aptitude
• Understanding of data architecture, software design and best coding practices
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Experience with databases (both SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Working knowledge of Linux

We are looking for a Backend Developer who has hands-on experience in coding, building technology blocks, help answer choice of certain platform/tech over others, help the team visualise the product with the available resources and assets. 

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and test functionality for the latest app design.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
• Take requirements and specs from design to development and be the first line of quality assurance.
• Understand user requirements—these apps have to meet real-world scenarios.
• Support the Supersub Mobile application in its entirety, including working on bug fixes and improving application performance, reliability and stability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in building Java, Node JS applications. 
• Experience in Building Robust REST APIs Using MEAN or MERN Stack. 
• Good programming skills, with the ability to Perform UI testing, Debugging Taking the ownership of the complete lifecycle of a product. 
• Solid experience with Unit Testing. 
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment) 
• Experience with deploying the code in AWS or AZURE is a plus. 
• Ability to write clean code and document the same to develop functional APIs and Admin Panel. 

Proven work experience in building a product is a plus. And the candidate must have an Engineering CS background.
