ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Driving the success of the software engineering team at Datamotive.

• Collaborating with senior and peer engineers to prioritize and deliver features on the roadmap.

• Build strong development team with focus on building optimized & usable solutions.

• Research, Design & Develop distributed solution to handle workload mobility across multi & hybrid clouds

• Assist in Identifying, Researching & Designing newer features and cloud platform support in areas of disaster recovery, data protection, workload migration etc.

• Assist in building product roadmap.

• Conduct pilot tests to assess the functionality of newly developed programs.

• Front facing customers for product introduction, knowledge transfer, solutioning, bugs triaging etc.

• Assist customers by giving product demos, conducting POCs, trainings etc.

• Manage Datamotive infrastructure, bring innovative automation for optimizing infrastructure usage through monitoring and scripting.

• Design test environments to simulate customer behaviours and use cases in VMware vSphere, AWS, GCP, Azure clouds.

• Help write technical documentation, generate marketing content like blogs, webinars, seminars etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 3 – 8 years of experience in software development with relevant domain understanding of Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, Ransomware Recovery.

• A strong understanding and demonstrable experience with at least one of the major public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure or VMware)

• A strong understanding and experience of designing and developing architecture of complex, distributed systems.

• Insights into development of client-server SaaS applications with good breadth across networking, storage, micro-services, and other web technologies.

• Experience of building and leading strong development teams with systems product development background

• Programming knowledge in either of GO Lang, C, C++, Python or Shell script.

• Should be a computer science graduate with strong fundamentals & problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of virtualization, storage and cloud platforms like VMware, AWS, GCP, Azure and/or Kubernetes will be preferable

We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer to work remotely for a product-based HealthTech Startup based in Mumbai.

Requirements

4+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.

[ React Native (2+ years) + Typescript is required ]

Experience working with NodeJS, Swift, Objective C, and Java is a plus but not required. Must have excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable, service oriented web applications from scratch for technology products for European market.
• Maintain these applications for accuracy and high availability.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve system designs, architecture and implementation standards
• Participate with founding, business and product teams in discussions on how to build and launch new modules.
• Collaborate across functions and own the planning, estimation and execution for parts of the product.
• Start as an individual contributor but stay ready to build and mentor a small team of up to 5 engineers over the coming months and years.

Requirements:

• Experience of architecting and building products/business critical backend applications using different MVC frameworks.
• Experience with microservices.
• Experience of building and maintaining scalable applications using Node.js/MEAN stack.
• Experience of deploying and maintaining web applications.
• Experience with non relational databases like MongoDB.
• Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and stress testing tools.
• Good communication skills.

• Exposure in building polyglot applications.
• Exposure for devops and related processes, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of components in scalable solutions i. e. database partitions, message brokers, background processing.
• Exposure to basic frontend technologies to speed up collaboration with the frontend team.

• Design the architecture and their solutions
• Define user stories and implement them using agile methodology
• Engage and manage a team of software engineers; including task planning and code reviews
• Have technical ownership of the product

Must have:

• Fullstack experience (React, Node JS, VU, Python)
• Expert in web technology (SaaS)
• Know-how of cloud technology
• Broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits
• Experience in release engineering and configuration management
• Comfort with both client-side and server-side development
• Passion for agile
• Knowledge of CICD pipeline
