Job Description

Contribute to all software-development life-cycle phases including: domain and non-domain problem analysis, solution requirement gathering and analysis, solution design, implementation, code review, source-code control, source building deployment, validation, QA support, and production support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Maintain and enhance multi-tier messaging application suites (Java EE, Springframework, WAS, Oracle, DB2, MQ)

•⁠ ⁠Build and maintain IRIS4Health middle-tier message applications (IRIS Interop/Cache; Java, Drools, Kafka, Restful, MLLP, SQL)

•⁠ ⁠Build and maintain multi-tier Clinical Toxicology application (Angular, Java EE, Springframework, WAS, RHOS, Cache, SQL)

•⁠ ⁠Maintain stat-tracking application (two-tier Delphi, MySQL)

•⁠ ⁠Maintain and enhance Cytogenetics three-tier application (Java EE, WAS, DB2, Oracle, SQL, )

•⁠ ⁠Maintain and enhance Fibrosure application (Java EE, WAS, Derby)

•⁠ ⁠Define develop, validate, and release software products via agile processes for small and large projects

•⁠ ⁠Support applications and people via Kanban processes

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with laboratory users to analyze problems, design and implement solutions for enterprise systems

•⁠ ⁠Provide support and troubleshooting of production systems according to an on-call schedule

•⁠ ⁠Document problem analysis, solution design, implementations, and system support guidelines

•⁠ ⁠Coach and train team members across lab system organizations to support and develop Java applications

•⁠ ⁠Communicate effectively and constructively with developers, QA, business analysts, and system users

•⁠ ⁠Design and depict via UML relational DB table models, object-oriented class models, messaging models, configuration models

•⁠ ⁠Understand, document, support, and improve inherited code and processes

•⁠ ⁠Help document knowledge and discovery with peer developers

Minimum Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Solid Java EE experience (Servlets, JMS, JSP, EJB, JCA, and JPA) development and support

•⁠ ⁠Solid InfoSystems Cache/IRIS for Health development and support

•⁠ ⁠A minimum of 1 years of JPA/ORM (Hibernate), Junit, XML/XSD, JSON experience or equivalent

•⁠ ⁠Solid SQL (and optionally PLSQL) experience

•⁠ ⁠Experience with Oracle DB including explain plan and or other query optimization techniques/tools

•⁠ ⁠Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•⁠ ⁠Strong UML modeling, ER and OO design, and data-normalization techniques

•⁠ ⁠Strong code-factoring philosophies and techniques

•⁠ ⁠Eclipse or NetBeans (or equivalent) IDE

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of client/server design, and smart recognition of separation-of-concern like functional behavior versus non-functional performance

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development:

• Engage in end-to-end development activities, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Perform hands-on development using a mix of technologies including Angular 13+, Java / Springboot, Fast API, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services and databases.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• o Work closely with the Tech Lead / Solution Architect and Product Manager to help design and implement scalable and robust solutions leveraging Angular 13+, Java / Springboot, Microservices, Fast API, Java Reactive Programming, and SQL.
• Assist in driving the architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to optimize system performance, security, and reliability.

Databases & Data Management:

• Demonstrate expertise in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Azure Blob Storage, Neo4j (GraphDB is a plus), and Azure CosmosDB.
• Design efficient database schemas, optimize query performance, and ensure data integrity and security.

Cloud Platform & Infrastructure:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including the deployment, management, and optimization of cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes Lens for managing containerized applications.

Tools & Collaboration:

• Utilize tools such as GitHub for version control, JIRA for project management, Confluence for documentation, Keycloak for identity and access management, and other relevant tools to streamline development and collaboration processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Strong expertise in Angular 13+, Java / Springboot, Microservices, Fast API, Java Reactive Programming, SQL.
• Proven experience with databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure CosmosDB.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and associated services.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure / AWS Certifications etc.;) are a plus.

• Must have knowledge of at least two PHP frameworks out of Laravel, Cakephp, CodeIgniter and YII.
• Must have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Knowledge of CMS architectures like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc. will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of eCommerce frameworks like WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart etc will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts & a strong passion for Software Development.
• Strong Interaction and Design Sense
• Familiarity with LAMP stack (Apache, MySQL and phpMyAdmin)
• Comfortable with SQL and/or Script Programming.
• Experience in Designing & Developing Database in MySQL is a MUST.

Role- Javascript Technical Lead

Job Responsibilities:
● Architect and design solutions and lead a team of 5-6 JS developers
● Interact with client understand requirements
● Able to convert business requirements to sizable tasks for developers to implement
● Provide technical expertise and mentor team in latest technologies
● Ensure and apprise stakeholders of technical feasibility, effort and impact of
implementations
● Create and present demos POCs

Skills Required:
1. Hand on experience with Node.js + React.js
2. Good understanding of Node.js frameworks (Express, Koa, Sails, Hapi) and good hands-on experience in at least one.
3. Strong understanding of Core JS Concepts including the ability to write unit tests.
4. Working knowledge in ES6 + JavaScript.
5. Experience in API Design (REST concepts) and API modeling.
6. Knowledge of WebSocket’s (Socket IO).
7. Hands on experience Typescript.
8. Experience with build tools (Webpack).
9. Experience with NoSql Databases (Mongo, Dynamo).
10. Good communicator with good client engagement skills.
11. Hand on experience with version control systems(git). Self-motivated and driven to
deliver, with and ability to be detail-oriented while able to see and define the overall
strategy.
12. Demonstrated ability to stay on top of new concepts and tools in the ever-evolving area

Good to have:
1. Knowledge of Docker and hands-on experience

Job Summary

• BS/BE/BCA/MSC/MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Hands on experience is preferable in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and J2EE internals
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, HTML5, MVC)
• Knowledge on Micro services, Containers / Docker would be added advantage.
• Knowledge on data science would be preferred.
• Exposure to building API, rest service and webservices.
• Exposure to open source like Tensor flow, NIFI, Stream pipes etc.,
