About the Role

We are looking for a software engineer to join our core platform team. The Platform team is a small group of experienced engineers managing ProjectDiscovery infrastructure, improving developer velocity, and ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our software. We are highly engaged in shaping the engineering culture at ProjectDiscovery, and operate as “the execution arm” working closely with founders and our CTO.

• Own codebase health, iteration velocity, and developer experience for all of ProjectDiscovery engineering.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Work across the stack, from crafting intuitive front-end interfaces to building robust backend systems.
• Design and implement secure, maintainable APIs for seamless integration of tools and platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expert with JavaScript (Next.js, React) and backend technologies like Node.js and Go.
• Experience with cloud services (Vercel, AWS, GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and database systems like PostgreSQL, Elastic or MongoDB.
• Self-motivated and passionate about solving complex problems at scale.
• Operating and optimizing CI/CD systems to improve developer velocity

Required Skills

We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

WordPress Developer Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Work across the stack from a code commit to running it in production, with the end goal of delivering the best possible experience for the user
• Design, develop and test features from inception to rollout
• Write high quality code that is scalable, testable, maintainable and reliable
• Independently own and drive new features from scratch
• Work in an Agile environment and facilitate agile practices

• Experience working with NodeJS on the backend and ReactJS on the frontend

• Experience with frameworks like ExpressJS, NestJS, Redux, Redux Saga, Storybook etc is preferred
• Practices TDD
• Experience writing test automation
• Working experience with databases like MongoDB, Redis and Relational databases
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming concepts
• Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker
• Experience practicing Agile software development methods is preferred.
