Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in modern backend technologies and scalable web application development. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications

Responsibilities

• Mentoring Team of Juniors, Code Reviews, and System Design Understanding
• Design and develop APIs using NodeJs, TypeScript, and deployment using the CICD pipeline.
• Apply code reviews and development quality reviews to make sure best practices are implemented
• Expertise with MySQL including the design of schemas and development for these databases
• Understanding of System Architectures, Design Patterns, and SOLID Principles
• Knowledge of git-based workflows such as git-flow, Proficient with code editors & linting tools

Requirements

• 2+ years of development experience with NodeJS, and Javascript frameworks related to the web stack
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Good to have

• Experience with AWS Microservices
• Experience with payment gateways
• Exposure to AWS Services, policies, and the DevOps pipeline is a plus.
• Expertise with React, Redux, Hooks, and its core principles

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of at least one back-end languages (preferably Python/Ruby/ Node.js) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

The Candidate should have knowledge and experience with specified technologies:

• Great at building server-side code in NodeJs & ExpressJs
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Experience in building and consuming REST API
• Authentication and authorisation using JWT tokens
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• DevOps knowledge especially in AWS EC2 and S3
• Knowledge of headless Chrome, Puppeteer will be huge plus
• Experience in HTML, CSS
• Understanding of React will be a bonus
