About the Job:

The Android Developer internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing cutting-edge mobile applications. As an Android Developer intern, you will work closely with our experienced team to create innovative solutions and contribute to real projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Android Development and Kotlin programming language.
• Experience with Javascript, Testing and Debugging techniques.
• Proficiency in Android Studio, Android SDK, Java and Android Application Development.
• Familiarity with XML, RESTful APIs, and version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of SQLite database management.

What You Bring to the team:

• 2-5 years of working experience in game development, preferable 2D games.
• Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, user session management.
• Good knowledge of game physics and particle systems
• Experience of shipping out games on Android/ iOS and rolling out updates to them
• Ability to plan and estimate timelines of new features/ releases.
• Expert in debugging
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structure and algorithms

Your responsibilities would include:

• As an Associate Unity game developer, you will be part of the Unity Dev team and will be responsible for the front-end (client) side development.
• You would design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Implement new game features and services 
• Continuously improve the game quality by fixing crashes, ANRs, performance related issues to deliver exceptional experience to our users.
• Integrate third party SDKs like Analytics, Monetisation, Crash reporting etc.
• Create, debug, maintain and optimise the game, and related in-house written libraries used for the game’s development.
• Reporting to team lead regularly in clear and structured way regarding your progress. Proactive communication is a must when deadlines are getting missed.

Technologies we're working with

• MVP, JAVA and Kotlin, Realm, Firebase Real-time Database, RxJava,Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger and Retrofit.

• Experience with building scalable applications using Flutter on android or IOS. (we are happy to meet you even if you do not know flutter but are willing to learn)
• Strong knowledge of Architectural pattern like Bloc, Provider etc in Flutter. Knowledge of writing Plugins in Flutter is a good to have skill
• Ability to think about scalability and reusability while developing flutter widgets.
• Experience in working with Dart.
• Knowledge of unit & integration testing, agile development process, jira & API integration will be extremely useful
• Strong UI building skills and the ability to handle updates in UI with high frequency data changes.
• Experience with version control systems (bitbucket, git etc.)
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Should have demonstrated experience working on application development projects and test-driven development. Experience in writing high quality code
• Strong state management knowledge
• Experience in Fintech domain will be another added advantage
