6sense is seeking a Staff Software Engineer and data to become part of a team

designing, developing, and deploying its customer-centric applications.

We’ve more than doubled our revenue in the past five years and completed our Series

E funding of $200M last year, giving us a stable foundation for growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Own critical datasets and data pipelines for product & business, and work

towards direct business goals of increased data coverage, data match rates, data

quality, data freshness

2. Create more value from various datasets with creative solutions, and unlocking

more value from existing data, and help build data moat for the company3. Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain optimal data pipelines, and assemble

large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business

requirements

4. Improving our current data pipelines i.e. improve their performance, SLAs,

remove redundancies, and figure out a way to test before v/s after roll out

5. Identify, design, and implement process improvements in data flow across

multiple stages and via collaboration with multiple cross functional teams eg.

automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, hand-off processes etc.

6. Work with cross function stakeholders including the Product, Data Analytics ,

Customer Support teams for their enablement for data access and related goals

7. Build for security, privacy, scalability, reliability and compliance

8. Mentor and coach other team members on scalable and extensible solutions

design, and best coding standards

9. Help build a team and cultivate innovation by driving cross-collaboration and

execution of projects across multiple teams

Requirements:

 8-10+ years of overall work experience as a Data Engineer

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

 Strong experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Spark. Experience with

Hadoop, Hive, Presto would-be a plus

 Strong experience in writing complex, optimized SQL queries across large data

sets. Experience with optimizing queries and underlying storage

 Experience with Python/ Scala

 Experience with Apache Airflow or other orchestration tools

 Experience with writing Hive / Presto UDFs in Java

 Experience working on AWS cloud platform and services.

 Experience with Key Value stores or NoSQL databases would be a plus.

 Comfortable with Unix / Linux command line

• Coordinating the involvement of additional departments (cross functional), including sales, customer service and management resources if necessary, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
• Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the partner accounts
• Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating partner needs on an ongoing basis
• Identifying, advising and assisting in implementing new or improved products, processes and procedures
• Leading solution development efforts that best address merchant and partner needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary departments
• Identifying key new partners and securing the relationship
• Taking care of all commercial and contractual negotiations with the partners
• Closing partnership agreements while properly balancing company goals, speed, and economic potential in delivering actual results
• Ensuring efficient and effective boarding and implementation of new partners, working closely with the partner’s sales and technical organization
• Taking designated targets for new accounts and getting them added to the pool target to deliver in the planned and promised timelines
• Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly report of performance and presenting it to the Vertical Head

Desired Candidate Profile

• MBA with Minimum 3 yrs+ proven track record in partner relationship management or Key Accounts Management
• Alliance or Lending experience is a plus
• Ability to articulate complex issues clearly to partners, management and internal departments

 Review all job requirements and specifications required for deploying the solution into the production environment. 

 Perform various unit/tests as per the checklist on deployment steps with help of test cases and maintain documents for the same. 

 Work with Lead to resolve all issues within the required timeframe and inform for any delays. 

 Collaborate with the development team to review new programs for implementation activities and manage communication (if required) with different functions to resolve issues and assist implementation leads to manage production deployments. 

 Document all issues during the deployment phase and document all findings from logs/during actual deployment and share the analysis. 

 Review and maintain all technical and business documents.  Conduct and monitor software implementation lifecycle and assist/make appropriate customization to all software for clients as per the deployment/implementation guide 

 Train new members on product deployment, issues and identify all issues in processes and provide solutions for the same. 

 Ensure project tasks as appropriately updated in JIRA / ticket tool for in-progress/done and raise the issues. 

 Should take self-initiative to learn/understand the technologies i.e. Vertica SQL, Internal Data integration tool (Athena), Pulse Framework, Tableau. 

 Flexible to work during non-business hours in some exceptional cases (for a few days) required to meet the client time zones. 

Experience on Tools and Technologies preferred: 

ETL Tools: Talend or Informatica ,Abinitio,Datastage 

BI Tools: Tableau or Jaspersoft or Pentaho or Qlikview experience 

Database: Experience in Oracle or SS 

Methodology: Experience in SDLC and/or Agile Methodology

Work Nature:

1. Understanding Business Requirements and converting those requirement in to Web Pages using HTML, CSS, JS and Photoshop/Illustrator.

2. Should have minimum 5 Web Page Designed/Shipped/Live

3. Can mentor/lead junior webpage designers regarding best practices
