Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for backend development, expertise in building scalable applications, and a deep understanding of server-side logic. You’ll work with a team of talented engineers to develop improve, and scale our backend systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design and implement APIs, web services, and backend systems usingNode.js.
• Database Management: Develop and optimize database solutions, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and other team members to create a cohesive product.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure the codebase meets quality standards.
• Scalability: Ensure the application is scalable, maintainable, and performs well under high traffic.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and promote best practices for coding.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for system architecture, APIs, and codebase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+ features.
• Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design.
• Knowledge of frameworks like Express.js or Koa.
• Familiarity with database technologies(e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud services(AWS, GCP). Tools: Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and other dev tools.
• other Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, excellent communication skills.

• Prospecting New Sponsors: Identify and engage potential sponsors for our newsletter through various channels, inbound, and outbound (cold outreach, warm intros etc.)
• Closing and Processing Sponsors: Take charge of the entire sales cycle - from prospecting potential sponsors to closing deals and facilitating the processing of sponsorships, ensuring a seamless collaboration with sponsors.
• Content Collaboration: Collaborate with the content team to integrate sponsorships seamlessly, ensuring a win-win for both sponsors and our audience.
• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and refine sales strategies based on market trends and feedback, continuously improving our sales approach.

-Sell insurance policies and provide loans to potential clients/stakeholders.

-Seek out leads and new clients.

-Sell policies that protect individuals and businesses from financial loss

-Proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative would be highly appreciated.

We are looking for a talented and competitive Sales Development Representative that thrives in a vibrant and dynamic sales environment with the below-mentioned required skill sets: 

• Good experience Inside B2B Sales 
• Good experience selling cloud-based solutions or cloud products (but not Azure & Microsoft Cloud) 
• Must have good experience in B2B sales, Cold-Calling, and lead generation 
• Must have past work experience in Saas-based companies. 

• Candidates worked in a Startup company must have at least 2+ yrs of experience in sales business development 
• Good communication skills
