INSIDE SALES - COUNSELLOR
We are looking for result-oriented and motivated Inside Sales Specialists / Counsellors who can develop strong technical knowledge about our educational products, industry and customer base to support the customers’ purchase decisions. Additionally, the candidates will be required to effectively prospect, qualify and generate new sales to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Responsibilities
- Build a thorough technical understanding of Suraasa products and help potential customers in understanding what we have to offer through effective articulation
- Engage with potential customers, identify their key pain points and create personalized growth journeys for every customer to help them purchase products to meet their career objectives
- Counsel leads on their personal growth prospects in the education industry
- Maintain excellent and supportive rapport with all leads
- Follow up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction and gain referrals
- Stay on top of market trends and participate in brainstorming sessions with the sales team to come up with new growth strategies
- Use CRM to track leads and manage pipelines daily
- Achieve monthly targets, and unlock fast growth opportunities within the department, eventually managing own sales team(s) and beyond
Qualification Criteria
- 2+ years of experience working in Sales or Marketing in EdTech space (preferable but not required) or 1-2 years of experience in Academic counselling/school counselling/clinical counselling
- Excellent verbal communication skills, strong conversationalist, and well-versed in English
- Strong negotiation and objection handling skills with the ability to work within deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team while always maintaining a professional, client-oriented attitude
- Understand the landscape of the Education Industry and the current needs of teachers and school leaders
- Proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Documents and CRM systems

One who is able to manage all aspects of the sales process including lead management, qualification, evaluation, closure and will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
- Manage and track customer and transactional information in the CRM system.
- Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering.
- Nurture and expand the company's relationship with customer accounts of all sizes.
- Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system.
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff.

- Perform Client-need Analysis, track their pain-points to develop a reach-out strategy.
Who you are
- Experienced – 4to7 years in Enterprise SAAS/selling Software Solutions (USD 100K++ ARR) in India markets including both transactional sales and strategic selling experience. 2to3 years in BFSI domain.
- Performer - Consistent over achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory
- Missionary - Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency and a belief in the client's mission
- Entrepreneurial - You've worked with start-ups and emerging organizations. You understand how to build and grow a successful business

What you need to have:- MBA from Tier-1 colleges (IIMs, XLRI, SPJain, FMS etc)
- Min 7 years of marketing experience. Out of 7 years of Marketing experience, minimum 3 years in handling brand profile
- E-comm, Health Tech, Ed Tech, Fin Tech, FMCG, Telecom background preferred
- Expertise in running ATL / BTL led marketing campaigns
- A go-getter with ownership and commitment
