Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced ODOO Developer to manage implementation of ODOO ERP application. As part of our team, you will work closely with ODOO consultant team and oversee their work while taking ownership of advanced customizations, integrations, and optimizations.

Responsibilities:

Project and Team Management:

• Oversee end-to-end ODOO implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

• Coordinate with different stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical needs.

• Lead a small team of developers, mentoring them and ensuring best practices in coding and implementation.

• Monitor project timelines, allocate resources effectively.

• Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and solutions with stakeholders.

Development and Integration:

• Analyze complex business requirements and provide technical solutions using ODOO.

• Design, develop, and customize ODOO modules to meet project-specific needs.

• Build and maintain integrations between ODOO and third-party systems via APIs.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth system performance.

• Implement best practices in ODOO development and deployment.

Technical skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ODOO development and customization in the latest ODOO versions.

• Familiarity with ODOO APIs and integration techniques.

    Requirement analysis

·         Acquisition support (Technical analysis)

·         Automotive ECU software development

·         Diagnostic (UDS) function development

·         Software testing

·         Technical collaboration with internal/external development parties

* Prepare business reviews for the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new enterprise customers.

Your responsibilities would be:

Third Party software integration:

·      SFA integration- coordinate with the users for any issues

·      Should be a problem solver for the users using any application within the management

·      Automate the process for the users whenever required for smooth functioning

Skills Required:

·      Someone who has largely been a part of automations, integrations, digital transformation

·      SAP B1 experience is an added advantage

·      Engineering Graduations preferred

·      Minimum 5-6 years’ relevant experience (FMCG Industry preferred)

• Experience building microservices and distributed systems, RESTful APIs, user interfaces
• Knowledge and will of writing unit, integration tests is a must. TDD is a plus

• Some exposure to infra: Deployments, CI/CD setup, security. AWS exposure is good to have
• Strong database concepts. Experience with MongoDB is a plus

• Work with engineering and other teams to build & maintain our database requirements and answer big data questions
• Use your past DBA experience and industry wide best practices to scale and optimize the database services.
