Roles and Responsibilities:

∙Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications                               

∙Implement and optimize Microservices architecture using Spring Boot                      

∙Utilize Hibernate for efficient data management and database interactions              

∙Implement and optimize asynchronous communication using technologies such as 

Active MQ, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Apache Kafka, etc.                                    

∙Write unit tests using Junit and Mockito for robust code coverage                              

∙Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement features              

∙Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards                 

∙Utilize SQL for effective database querying and manipulation

What You Will Do

• Develop an in-depth comprehension of customer segments and their distinctive behaviors through data science and analytical insights.
• Take charge of the entire customer journey, from inception to completion, while maintaining accountability for its effectiveness.
• Utilise global product knowledge and customer insights to identify user needs, generating actionable data-driven recommendations for product enhancement.
• Collaborate across departments, including product, design, business, and brand marketing, to devise and execute growth strategies rooted in data analysis.
• Employ continuous experimentation to enhance value propositions and streamline execution processes.
• Drive monthly customer key performance indicators (KPIs) such as acquisition, churn reduction, activation, and revenue growth.

About our Engineering Department

We build new features on top of a stack using YII2 framework, consisting of web apps communicating through APIs, backed by MySQL databases and currently using Cordova for our Android and iOS apps
We don’t follow rigid Scrum or Kanban, but we do work in an agile, iterative way – we deploy changes multiple times a week to production and try to continuously improve and implement what works for us.

Writing code, code reviews, fixing bugs, optimising server response, etc.

About 1-4 years experience in PHP framework, including both successes and failures, which help you make better decisions.
Good working knowledge of PHP MVC Frameworks, MySQL & HTML/CSS.
Significant experience in working on major systems in one or more languages: ideally you’ve built REST API endpoints on top of data storage layers, and understand concepts like authentication, caching, web security, and the way that frontends consume APIs.
