PRINCIPAL ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTION

It is a YCombinator, Sequoia Capital and GFC funded start-up building digital solutions for women with chronic health conditions in India. We are the leading player in treating PCOS, a chronic condition that
affects 100 million women in India alone. Healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries globally and desperately needs disruption in women’s health. Our vision is to be the first and only digital solution women turn to for healthcare needs throughout their lifeime.

What you’ll do:
As our Principal Engineer, you will drive 0-to-1 innovation at a fast-growing digital health start-up to transform the lives of hundreds of millions of women living with chronic conditions. In the future, this role will grow into a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) position as we expand further into the multi-billion-dollar undisrupted market that is women’s health. You will work with a world-class team (McKinsey, UnitedHealth, ex-IIT, Wharton) and pedigreed investors to directly shape our engineering culture from the ground up. You will drive innovation across our consumer and doctor-facing products (app + website + backend) while leading & building out a high-performing engineering team.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with NodeJS.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working with Typescript required.
• Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required.

• Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
• Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs.

‍Expected to manage the product plan, engineering, and delivery of Plum Integration activities. Plum is a rewarding and incentive infrastructure for businesses. It's a unified integrated suite of products to handle various rewarding use cases for consumers, sales, channel partners, and employees. 31% of the total tech team is aligned towards this product and comprises 32 members within Plum Tech, Quality, Design, and Product management.
