Job Overview :

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage Kubernetes-based deployments for a microservices data discovery platform.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise with Helm, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud networking — and can handle complex deployments across on-prem, cloud, and air-gapped environments.

Mandatory Skills :

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and customize Helm charts from scratch.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitOps.
• Manage containerized deployments across on-prem/cloud setups.
• Work on air-gapped and restricted environments.
• Optimize for scalability, monitoring, and security (Prometheus, Grafana, RBAC, HPA).

Scope of Work:

• Support the migration of applications from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2019 or 2022 in an IaaS environment.
• Migrate IIS websites, Windows Services, and related application components.
• Assist with migration considerations for SQL Server connections, instances, and basic data-related dependencies.
• Evaluate and migrate message queues (MSMQ or equivalent technologies).
• Document the existing environment, migration steps, and post-migration state.
• Work closely with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams throughout the project.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with IIS administration, configuration, and application migration.
• Proven experience migrating workloads between Windows Server versions, ideally legacy to modern.
• Knowledge of Windows Services setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Practical understanding of SQL Server (connection strings, service accounts, permissions).
• Experience with queues IBM/MSMQ or similar) and their migration considerations.
• Ability to identify migration risks, compatibility constraints, and remediation options.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (.Net, etc)
• Networking and Active Directory related knowledge

Desirable / Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to CI/CD tools, especially TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.

Location & Engagement Details

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Consultant for an onsite role in Stockholm (Sundbyberg office). This opportunity is open to candidates currently based in Bengaluru who are willing to relocate to Sweden for the assignment.

The role will start with an initial 6-month onsite engagement, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Collaborate with Data Scientists to test and scale new algorithms through pilots and later industrialize the solutions at scale to the comprehensive fashion network of the Group

• Influence, build and maintain the large-scale data infrastructure required for the AI projects, and integrate with external IT infrastructure/service to provide an e2e solution

• Leverage an understanding of software architecture and software design patterns to write scalable, maintainable, well-designed and future-proof code

• Design, develop and maintain the framework for the analytical pipeline

Experience in architecting and deploying AWS Landing Zone architecture with CI/CD pipeline

Experience on architecture, design of AWS cloud services to address scalability, performance, HA, security, availability, compliance, backup and DR, automation, alerting and monitoring and cost

Hands-on experience in migrating applications to AWS leveraging proven tools and processes including migration, implementation, cutover and rollback plans and execution

Hands-on experience in deploying various AWS services e.g. EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Security Groups etc. using either manual or IaC, IaC is preferred

Hands-on Experience in writing cloud automation scripts/code such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation Template (AWS CFT) etc.

Hands-on Experience with application build/release processes CI/CD pipelines

Deep understanding of Agile processes (planning/stand-ups/retros etc), and interact with cross-functional teams i.e. Development, Infrastructure, Security, Performance Engineering, and QA
