About the Role

Our client is hiring a Backend Engineer (India-based, Remote) to design, build, and scale the core memory infrastructure powering production-grade AI agents.

This role is intended for an experienced engineer with 7–10 years of backend engineering experience, who has deeply internalized AI-native engineering practices and actively builds using tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, or comparable AI development tools as a core part of their workflow.

The hiring process is intentionally non-traditional and skill-first. There is no evaluation based on IIT pedigree, LeetCode performance, or conventional resume filters. Instead, the only evaluation criterion is: how you build with AI in real-world scenarios.

Candidates are expected to submit prompt logs or transcripts from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Windsurf demonstrating a feature or product they are proud of.

What You'll Own

• Build and scale backend systems powering the memory infrastructure of the product
• Own and deliver features end-to-end, integrating AI coding tools into the core development workflow
• Design, manage, and optimize database, storage, and retrieval systems for persistent memory
• Collaborate closely on system architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability engineering
• Contribute directly to product roadmap decisions based on real customer usage and production insights

Requirements

Must-Have

• 7–10 years of backend engineering experience

• Strong Python fundamentals

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Architect with proven experience in building AWS environments from the ground up—not just consuming existing services. This role requires an AWS builder mindset, capable of designing, provisioning, and managing multi-account AWS architectures, networking, security, and database platforms end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Environment Provisioning:

- Design and provision multi-account AWS environments using best practices (Control Tower, Organizations).

- Set up and configure networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Private Endpoints, Subnets, Routing, Firewalls).

- Provision and manage AWS database platforms (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB) with high availability and security.

- Manage full AWS account lifecycle, including IAM roles, policies, and access controls.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

- Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

- Automate account provisioning, networking, and security configuration.

Security & Compliance:

- Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM governance, encryption, and compliance automation.

- Use tools like AWS Config, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Vault to enforce standards.

Automation & CI/CD:

- Create automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for provisioning and management tasks.

- Integrate AWS infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).

Monitoring & Optimization:

- Implement monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) for infrastructure health and performance.

- Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of AWS environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, with 7+ years focused on AWS provisioning.

Responsibilities :

• Design and execute ‘ Brand positioning strategies ‘ for campuses . Including the execution of quick wins and strategic alignment of long term plans
• Plan and organize ‘campus engagement events’ for better brand positioning
• Primary and secondary research to forecast  and mitigate any brand threats or perception mismatches
• Work with multiple stakeholders in creating brand strategy, designing new programs to help campus students and entry level graduates start and pursue their learning journey from onboarding through deployment
• Project management skills to manage delivery of branding materials like digital content, blogs, mailers, websites, brochures, posters, standees, newsletters, WhatsApp communication posters, events, video storyboarding, press write-ups, with individual accountability
• Conceptualize, create and edit presentations for learning strategists, managers, leadership team, with a high level of accuracy and aesthetic value
• Efficient in designing collaterals with new age themes, attractive messaging, taglines, hashtags, WIIFM strategy that drives a call to action.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be in charge of:

• Designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Engaging in cross-functional team discussions on design, deployment, operation, and maintenance,  in a fast-moving, collaborative set up
