Strong experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tools such as Jenkins, TravisCI, or GitLab CI.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.

Understanding of networking concepts and principles.

Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.

Good understanding of security and data protection principles.

Roles and responsibilities:

● Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

● Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

● Deploy updates and fixes

● Helping to ensure information security best practices

● Provide Level 2 technical support

● Perform root cause analysis for production errors

● Investigate and resolve technical issues

• Good experience in AWS services like Elastic Compute Cloud(EC2), IAM, RDS, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.
• Using GIT, SonarQube, Ansible, Nexus, Nagios, etc.
• Strong experience in creating, importing and launching volumes with security groups, auto-scaling, Load Balancers, Fault-tolerant
• Experience in configuring Jenkins job with related Plugins for     Building, Testing, and Continuous Deployment to accomplish the complete CI/CD.

DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of experience in building infrastructure experience with Cloud Providers ( AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience in deploying containerized applications build on NodeJS/PHP/Python to kubernetes cluster.

• Experience in monitoring production workload with relevant metrics and dashboards.

• Experience in writing automation scripts using Shell, Python, Terraform, etc.

• Experience in following security practices while setting up the infrastructure. 

• Self-motivated, able, and willing to help where help is needed

• Able to build relationships, be culturally sensitive, have goal alignment, have learning agility  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage various resources across different cloud providers. (Azure, AWS, and GCP)

• Monitor and optimize infrastructure cost.

• Manage various kubernetes clusters with appropriate monitoring and alerting setup.

• Build CI/CD pipelines to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of various services into kubernetes infrastructure.

• Work closely with the development team on upcoming features to determine the correct infrastructure and related tools.

• Assist the support team with escalated customer issues.

• Develop, improve, and thoroughly document operational practices and procedures. 

• Responsible for setting up good security practices across various clouds.

As DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of the team building the stage for our Software Engineers to work on, helping to enhance our product performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Build & operate infrastructure to support website, backed cluster, ML projects in the organization.
• Helping teams become more autonomous and allowing the Operation team to focus on improving the infrastructure and optimizing processes.
• Delivering system management tooling to the engineering teams.
• Working on your own applications which will be used internally.
• Contributing to open source projects that we are using (or that we may start).
• Be an advocate for engineering best practices in and out of the company.
• Organizing tech talks and participating in meetups and representing Box8 at industry events.
• Sharing pager duty for the rare instances of something serious happening.
• Collaborate with other developers to understand & setup tooling needed for Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Requirements:

• 1+ Years Of Industry Experience Scale existing back end systems to handle ever increasing amounts of traffic and new product requirements.
• Ruby On Rails or Python and Bash/Shell skills.
• Experience managing complex systems at scale.
• Experience with Docker, rkt or similar container engine.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar clustering solutions.
• Experience with tools such as Ansible or Chef Understanding of the importance of smart metrics and alerting.
• Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring (we are on AWS and use ECS, ELB, EC2, Elasticache, Elasticsearch, S3, CloudWatch).
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
• Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
• Experience in working on linux based servers.
• Managing large scale production grade infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
• Good Knowledge on scripting languages like ruby, python or bash.
• Experience in creating in deployment pipeline from scratch.
• Expertise in any of the CI tools, preferably Jenkins.
• Good knowledge of docker containers and its usage.
• Using Infra/App Monitoring tools like, CloudWatch/Newrelic/Sensu.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails based applications and its deployment methodologies.
• Experience working on Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes/ECS/Mesos.
• Extra Points For Experience With Front-end development NewRelic GCP Kafka, Elasticsearch.
