DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who will own infrastructure, deployment, reliability, and cloud cost optimisation. You will work closely with backend, AI, and product teams to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and always available.

This is a high-ownership role with real impact on uptime, performance, and developer velocity.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS acceptable)
• Manage Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud SQL, storage, and networking
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability

CI/CD & Deployment

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend and AI services
• Automate deployments, rollbacks, and environment management (dev, staging, prod)
• Improve release reliability and deployment speed

Monitoring, Reliability & Security

• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging (uptime, CPU, memory, errors, latency)
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and incidents
• Implement security best practices: IAM, secrets management, backups, and access controls

Cost Optimisation & Performance

• Monitor and optimise cloud costs (compute, databases, storage)
• Implement autoscaling, right-sizing, and resource optimisation
• Work with engineering teams to balance performance with cost efficiency

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–6 years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong experience with GCP (or AWS with willingness to transition)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised workloads
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure
• Experience with AI/ML workloads and GPU-based deployments

• Role Overview

• Senior Engineer with a strong background and experience in cloud related technologies and architectures. Can design target cloud architectures to transform existing architectures together with the in-house team. Can actively hands-on configure and build cloud architectures and guide others.

• Key Knowledge

• 3-5+ years of experience in AWS/GCP or Azure technologies
• Is likely certified on one or more of the major cloud platforms
• Strong experience from hands-on work with technologies such as Terraform, K8S, Docker and orchestration of containers.
• Ability to guide and lead internal agile teams on cloud technology
• Background from the financial services industry or similar critical operational experience

Implementation Engineer

Implementation Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

• Understanding requirements from internal consumers about program functionality.
• Perform UAT tests on application with help of test cases and prepare documents for same and coordinate with team to resolve all issues within required timeframe and inform management of any delays.
• Collaborate with development team to design new programs for all client implementation activities and manage all communication with department to resolve all issues and assist implementation analyst to manage all production data.
• Perform research on all client issues and document all findings and implement all technical activities with help of JIRA.
• Assist internal teams to monitor all software implementation lifecycle and assist to track appropriate customization to all software for clients.
• Train technical staff on all OS and software issues and identify all issues in processes and provide solutions for same. Train other team members on processes, procedures, API functionality, and development specifications.
• Supervise/support crossed-functional teams to design, test and deploy to achieve on-time project completion.
• Implement, configure, and debug MySQL, JAVA, Redis, PHP, Node, ActiveMQ setups.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure utilizing SYSLOG, SNMP and other monitoring software.
• Install, configure, monitor and upgrade applications during installation/upgrade activities.
• Assisting team to identify network issue and help them with respective resolutions.
• Utilize JIRA for issue reporting, status, activity planning, tracking and updating project defects and tasks.
• Managing JIRA and tracking tickets to closure and follow-ups with team members.
• Troubleshoot software issues

Implementation Engineer Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Experience working with
• Linux & Windows Operating system
• Working on shell and bat scripts
• SIP/ISUP based solutions
• deploying / debugging Java, C++ based solutions.
• MySQL to install, backup, update and retrieve data
• Front-end or back-end software development for LINUX
• database management and security a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse cloud infrastructure requirements

• Automating system tasks and infrastructure using a scripting language (Shell/Python/Ruby

preferred), with configuration management tools (Ansible/ Puppet/Chef), service registry and

discovery tools (Consul and Vault, etc), infrastructure orchestration tools (Terraform,

CloudFormation), and automated imaging tools (Packer)

• Support existing infrastructure, analyse problem areas and come up with solutions

• An eye for monitoring – the candidate should be able to look at complex infrastructure and be

able to figure out what to monitor and how.

• Work along with the Engineering team to help out with Infrastructure / Network automation needs.

• Deploy infrastructure as code and automate as much as possible

• Manage a team of DevOps

Desired Profile:

• Understanding of provisioning of Bare Metal and Virtual Machines

• Working knowledge of Configuration management tools like Ansible/ Chef/ Puppet, Redfish.

• Experience in scripting languages like Ruby/ Python/ Shell Scripting

• Working knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing, firewalling & IPS concepts

• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.

• Self-starter who can implement with minimal guidance

• Hands-on experience setting up CICD from SCRATCH in Jenkins

• Experience with Managing K8s infrastructure

DevOps Architect 

Experience:  10 - 12+ year relevant experience on DevOps

• Design, Develop, deploy, and run operations of infrastructure services in the Acqueon AWS cloud environment

• 8 years’ progressive experience managing IT infrastructure and global cloud environments such as AWS, GCP (must)
• 3-5 years management experience leading a Cloud Operations / Site Reliability / Production Engineering team working with globally distributed teams in a fast-paced environment
• 3-5 years’ experience in IAC (Terraform, K8)
• 3+ years end-to-end incident management experience
• Experience with communicating and presenting to all stakeholders
• Experience with Cloud Security compliance and audits
• Detail-oriented. The ideal candidate is one who naturally digs as deep as they need to understand the why
• Knowledge on GCP will be added advantage

• As a DevOps Engineer, you need to have strong experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Setup development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (Mobile, Web API’s & AIML)

• 3+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer and strong working knowledge in CI/CD pipelines

• Strong knowledge in Linux-based infrastructures and AWS/Azure/GCP environment
