Project Engineer

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Solid proficiency in Angular (latest versions preferred).
• Strong understanding of Angular components, modules, services, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience in C# and .NET development.
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs using Swagger.
• Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience writing and maintaining integration tests.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL or NoSQL, MongoDB).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on machine learning and full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services using frameworks like Flask or Django.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL for data storage and retrieval.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Job Requirements:

• Manage and docket Intellectual Property (IP) filings, deadlines, review attorney invoices, and work closely with the company’s Patent Counsel
• Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses and analyze patents, scientific papers, and documents
• Prepare, draft, and file patent applications and draft responses to office actions
• Administer new/renewal IP filings and prepare/coordinate documentation for internal stakeholder review
• Coordinate invention disclosure documents, internal discussions, and provide guidance on a variety of patent and IP-related issues
• Serve as a liaison between inventors, Emerging Technology, and outside counsel
• Provide ongoing guidance to the business teams regarding invention disclosures, prior art searches, inventorship, and IP guidance
• Develop and maintain excellent partnerships with internal and external parties to build efficiencies, successful project deadlines, and best practices for internal IP
• Identify opportunities for improvement and apply best practice principles and concepts where appropriate
