Fullstack Developer

Job Description:

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-fledged software platforms that can function independently without relying on third-party applications. Work on both the front-end and back-end development processes, using a range of technologies and languages such as Java, Springboot, microservices, cloud with Angular or react.

Essential functions:

• Strategic Architectural Design Lead the design and development of complex, enterprise-level software systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend optimal architectural patterns.
• Ensure software solutions align with business requirements and long-term goals.
• Technical Leadership Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate development efforts.

• FullStack Development Hands-on coding and implementation of front-end, back-end, and database components.
• Develop robust APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to refactor and modernize existing systems.
• Automate deployment pipelines and streamline DevOps processes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.
• Knowledge Sharing Document technical specifications, design patterns, and implementation details.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill the development team.
• Stay-up-dated on the latest Java ecosystem and share industry insights.

Qualifications/ Experience & Skills:

• Computer engineering/ Computer Science OR equivalent degree.
• 10-15 Years of total experience.
• As an experienced Full Stack Architect, individuals would be responsible for driving the technical vision, leading the development team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet business objectives.
• Notice period: immediate - 30 days would be preferred.

Would be a plus :

• Experience in Enterprise architecture

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend applications. 
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) 
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices. 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects. 
• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical problems. 
• Identify and implement performance optimizations. 
• Participate in code reviews 
• Hands-on experience with Springboot, Java 8 and above. 
• 2-5 years of experience developing Java applications. 
• Knowledge about at least one messaging system like Kafka, RabbitMQ etc. 
• Required React developer requirements, qualifications & skills: 
• Proficiency in React.js and its core principles 
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills 
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux) 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. 
• Experience with design patterns and best practices for Java development. 
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit). 
• Experience with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 
• Experience with one of these databases – Postgres, MongoDb, Cassandra 
• Knowledge on Retail or OMS is a plus. 
• Experienced in containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps mindset 
• Ability to reverse engineer existing/legacy and document findings on confluence. 
• Create automated tests for unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing, to meet established expectations and acceptance criteria. 
• Document APIs using Lowe’s established tooling.

You will be responsible for developing and designing front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties. You will be responsible for the functional/technical track of the project

4. Successfully design medium to large-scale Enterprise solutions using Java technologies
5. Good knowledge of the design patterns like core design patterns, J2EE design patterns and architectural design patterns along with knowledge of UML
6. Lead technical discussion to provide technical guidance and create coding standards
7. Good with architecting and engineering systems independently, would want the individual to be comfortable implementing a significant part of the framework.
8. Provide technical knowledge and leadership on design and development best practices. 
9. Provide technical input on unit and integration tests for server- and client-side applications, build and deployment procedures and standards.

Required skills

1. 5+ years of experience in developing and testing software using Java J2EE based application
2. Experience in managing team technically.
3. 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. 
4. 2+ years of experience in developing application using Spring (Spring Core, Spring ORM and Spring Batch), Hibernate.
5. 2+ years of experience in web technologies using Spring MVC, jQuery. 
6. Good knowledge of design patterns
7. Knowledge on SSL, Web application security frameworks
8. Experience in J2EE performance and scalability
9. Hands on experience on Maven, Jenkins, Nexus etc.
10. Proficient in Software development/integration/build tools like GIT, GERRIT, JIRA/BugZilla
11. Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Design Patterns especially MVC is must
12. Good Knowledge and hands on experience on different databases.  
13. Proficient in Writing / Understanding PL / SQL objects like stored procedures, triggers.
