Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

What We’re Looking For: 

Minimum 5 - 8 years of work experience in Software application development. 

• 3+ Years of experience as a full stack developer with experience in the design and implementation of UI using React.js. 
• 5+ Years of experience in developing APIs using Node.js, and having experience with Golang will be an added advantage. 
• Proven experience in React design guidelines, SDK, and excellent JavaScript skills. 
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL-based databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. 
• Familiarity with API security models including but not limited to OAuth, JSON Web Token, Digital Certificates, Basic Authentication, and OpenID. 
• Exposure to DevOps culture with hands-on experience in Jenkins for CI/CD would be an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of containerization utilizing Docker and Kubernetes will be an added advantage. 

Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and responsibility with release goals. This includes understanding requirements, technical specifications, design, architecture, implementation, unit testing, builds/deployments, and code management. 
• Ensure compliance through the adoption of enterprise standards and promotion of best practice / guiding principles aligned with organization standards. 
• Build and maintain the environment for speed, accuracy, consistency, and ‘up’ time. 
• Hands-on position requiring strong analytical, architectural, development, and debugging skills that includes both development and operations. 
• Developing front-end website architecture and designing user interactions on web pages, ensuring the responsiveness of applications. 
• Developing back-end APIs and creating servers and databases for functionality. 
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features. 
• Designing and developing APIs meeting both technical and consumer needs.

We’re seeking a Senior full stack developer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. This person will have complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The full stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users. 

Job description

The ideal candidate must have extensive development experience of microservices using Java Spring Boot. In addition, they should know the installation, configuration, platform operations, and troubleshooting of API products. Besides, they should also have experience in API design, BaaS, Advanced proxies, Analytics, Developer Portal, and creating RESTful API patterns.

Responsibility

Develop and design RESTful microservices and APIs

Be involved in the development life cycle and would be doing definition and feasibility analysis

Apply latest software design techniques and contribute to the technical design of new solutions

Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed

Write object-oriented and maintainable code

Deliver quality results on time with minimal supervision

Work with multiple stakeholders involved in the project

Deliver APIs with standard documentation as per Open API standards

Skillset

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering

At least 3-5+ years of experience in developing APIs and microservices using Spring Boot

Expertise in Java

Hands-on Experience in OOPS concepts, Spring Boot, Spring 3.x, Spring Dependency Injection (IOC, MVC, JDBC, JMS, etc.), and hibernate or any other ORMs

Hands-on experience in web services-RESTful

Knowledge of Restful API design patterns

Working knowledge in Databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL

Hands-on experience in NGINX (Webserver and Reverse proxy)

Hands-on experience in setting up MTLS between microservices

Hands-on experience in docker implementation

Hands-on experience in consuming SOAP services from microservices

Hands-on experience in application servers like Tomcat and WebLogic

Hands-on experience in any of Java IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ)

Hands-on experience in dependency and build management tools preferably Maven

Familiarity with code versioning tools, like Git, SVN, and Mercurial

Familiarity with APIGEE API gateway

Familiarity with Node.js

As our Full Stack Engineer, you will be developing fast, reliable and scalable web applications while taking responsibility for shipping core backend features.

3. Follow TDD and write well designed, factored, and tested code

What we're looking for in you:

1. 4+ years of experience in Full Stack Development
2. Extensive programming skills with a proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and Javascript
3. Have strong fundamentals in systems design and RDBMS and NoSQL databases
4. Product minded: Strong UI/UX and design sense
5. Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling and dynamic web page development
6. Experience working with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, Redux, TypeScript
7. Stellar problem solving and research skills with the ability to design scalable systems
8. Exposure with AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD Setups
9. Experience in functional, L& P and security testing
