At the centre of solving those challenges is the TAPPP Product Engineering team which is responsible for the TAPPP product end to end. We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who will work collaboratively with our engineering team to deploy and operate systems/services, help automate and streamline operations and processes, and troubleshoot issues within multiple environments. As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing orchestration techniques for automating deployments of microservices using Docker containers in the cloud (AWS) and on-premises environments. You will also be supporting technical teams by using technical analyses in order to improve the scalability and reliability of entire system. The organization is flat, process is minimal, individual responsibility is big, and there is an emphasis on keeping non-productive influences out of the everyday technical decision making process. Upholding these philosophies will be imperative as we execute our aggressive plan of global expansion over the next 2 years. The position is based in Pune, India. Here is what we are looking for: • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a DevOps capacity, preferably in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. • Strong experience and sound understanding of CI/CD principles and technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc. • Experience with container technology such as Docker and container orchestration tools like ECS, kubernetes, Mesos. • Proven experience in building and maintaining production systems on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, Cloud Formation, ECS cluster and AWS APIs. • Experience with monitoring, metrics, and visualization tools for network, server, and application/services status • Experience and working understanding of multiple coding and scripting languages including Shell, Python, Perl, Java • Strong written and oral communication skills a must. • An unquenchable desire to learn, attention to detail with a can-do attitude. • Comfortable working in a start-up environment.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :

- A graduate degree or senior diploma in engineering or technology with some or all of the following:

- Knowledge and work experience with KVM, AWS (Glacier, S3, EC2), RabbitMQ, Fluentd, Syslog, Nginx is preferred

- Installation and tuning of Web Servers, PHP, Java servlets, memory-based databases for scalability and performance

- Knowledge of email related protocols such as SMTP, POP3, IMAP along with experience in maintenance and administration of MTAs such as postfix, qmail, etc will be an added advantage

- Must have knowledge on monitoring tools, trend analysis, networking technologies, security tools and troubleshooting aspects.

- Knowledge of analyzing and mitigating security related issues and threats is certainly desirable.

- Knowledge of agile development/SDLC processes and hands-on participation in planning sprints and managing daily scrum is desirable.

- Preferably, programming experience in Shell, Python, Perl or C.

Responsibilities :

- Manage a portfolio of 5+ Enterprise customer accounts with complex needs (typical enterprise customers invest between $500k and $4m+ per year with CloudPassage, have hundreds to tens of thousands of individual public cloud infrastructure deployments, and protect hundreds of thousands of cloud infrastructure assets with Halo).

- Provide level-3 technical support on your customer's most complex issues

- Lead implementation of low-level security controls in Cloud environments, for services, server and containers

- Remotely diagnose & resolve DevSecOps issues in customer environments - able to resolve their DevOps issues that may be interfering with CloudPassage processing.

- Interact with CloudPassage Engineering team by providing customer issue reproduction and data capture, technical diagnostics and validating fixes. QA experience preferred.

- Establish and program manage proactive, value-driven, high-touch relationships with your customers to understand, document and align customer strategies, business objectives, designs, processes and projects with Halo platform capabilities and broader CloudPassage services.

- Develop a trusted advisor relationship by building and maintaining appropriate relationships at all levels with your customer accounts, creating a premium and high-caliber experience.

- Ensure continued satisfaction, identify & confirm unaddressed customer needs that can be value-add opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell, and communicate those needs to the CloudPassage sales team. Identify any early CSAT issues and renewal risks and work with the internal team to remediate and ensure strong CSAT and a successful renewal.

- Be a strong customer advocate within CloudPassage and identify and support areas for improvement in the customer experience, both in our product and processes.

Requirements : Strong cloud security knowledge & experience including :

- End-to-end enterprise security processes
